Congratulations Vickie!! You have been busy and I know you've taken breaks in there too. Not easy doing all those quizzes, you deserve a break. Wish we still had the leader board of number of quizzes written somewhere on the site like we did o 1.0. One of the things that didn't make it over to 2.0. Was just thinking about it as another member and I would go back and forth about who was going to be ahead of whom.

Congratulations Vickie - unbelievable milestone. You've put in lots of hard work (and your quizzes show it - they are terrific with a capital T)

Vickie - you are a treasure! And now you have a treasure chest full to prove it. (I don't even know 1600 things!) I can't fathom the imagination and creativity to write so many quizzes. You deserve a special week! Thank you for the hours of fun you've provided for all of us. If there is ever a Sploofus Hall of Fame, your name is there in platinum and diamonds.

Don't let the fact that Vickie's quizzes are of the utmost quality as well. Anyone can turn out volume, it's the content that makes her HOF material. BTW, I don't take your country music quizzes.

Felix - I had a boss like that once. She was boss - but had no idea how to do the work of the people she supervised. She once handed me a small revision and told me to edit it and work the job. I looked at her wide-eyed and told her I wasn't trained to do that - I didn't know how. She said, oh, don't worry, any idiot could use common sense and work that job. (By saying that, she thought she had appealed to my ego enough to not come to her with questions, since she didn't want us to know she didn't have the least idea how to do it herself. Her supervisor had given the job to HER to do.)

Apparently, not any idiot could do it, because I couldn't. I had to go way over her head to find someone to give me some pointers. It was a pilot flight manual. With lives at stake, I thought it worth burying my ego and getting it right! point is, not everyone can pump out volume either, quality or not.

But you are very correct that Vickie deserves to be honored also for her ability to write QUALITY, as well as quantity. 1,600 great quizzes. Even the C&W ones.

I agree JJ. it would at the very least require some degree of fortitude to produce volume regardless of content. Anyway, Vickie is tops in my book.

WOW, Vick...that's so impressive! I just checked my total, and I'm not even close. But please don't rest for too long. A day or two should be enough before you start up again!

I remember seeing a list of Most Prolific Quiz Writers or something to that effect listed somewhere, maybe it was 1.0.

Congratulations, Vickie, on your 1600 quizzes! That's great! I've enjoyed all of your quizzes and especially the country music, but you already know that! I know it has been a lot of hard work even though you enjoy it!

Awesome accomplishment! But I'm curious, just why did you set 1,600 as your goal? Just because?

I find writing quizzes to be more difficult than writing puzzles, so I switched to writing puzzles when they opened it up to platinum members. To be truthful, I've not written a puzzle in quite a while either, so I need to get busy and do my part.

I don't know why I chose 1600 just sounded like a nice round number for I have great memories of my 16th birthday...Steve is 65 quizzes ahead of me according to his profile..He was the leader when we were at 1.0...Don't know if anyone else has written more or not...I may write some more later on...right now I'm taking a break...

When someone says, "Any idiot could do this," we should translate it thusly: "I cannot do this. So I want to dump it on you, while looking like of course I COULD do it, if I were to lower myself." Good for you, not faking it and killing off a dozen pilots. (And then, tell me you quit a job where your boss talks to you like that?)

1600 Quizzes? No ....1-6-0-0? Wowsa. That's amazing, and THANKS
