Any thoughts on a First Lady who stands 5-9 to 5-11?

I think she's terrific, but until today I had no idea she was stratospheric.

I think she looks wonderful- I can't wait to see what she wears to the parties tonight. I sure hope those green shoes are comfortable because she's doing a lot of hoofing today. Word is she has several gowns from different designers for the Inaugural Ball and hadn't decided as of yesterday.

Lovely woman -- and her older daughter already looks so much like her. I didnt realize she was that tall but being a shoe nut, did notice she favors flats!

So what did you think of her outfit for the inauguration ceremony?

I bet it was fur -- maybe faux fur lined! A dress in that cold weather! I thought it was a pretty color, I wonder what it looked like with out the coat!

I thought it was absolutely lovely. I think there was a short underjacket sewn into the coat of the outfit. She was extremely brave in my opinion, I would have suggested longjohns and insulated boots.

I thought her dress was beautiful too. Exquisite but not overly flashy. Very classy. And at her height and with her figure, she will wear everything very well.

She is beautiful and being a tall woman myself, I think she is just right! I think they are both, Michelle and Mr. President, beautiful people. Nice couple and great kids too. A wonderful first family. Congratulations to the Obama's.

Nice dress, but olive green gloves??

The green gloves and shoes threw me too, but at least she's not afraid to take a chance. I don't think this First Lady will play it safe fashion-wise, at least I hope not. We've had about 40 years of that in my opinion.

I thought she looked great. There could have been some flecks of green or green thread to call for the green gloves and shoes. Or she she liked the match! Whatever, I think she pulled it off.

Sorry to be so old fashioned, but I don't care what people look like, its their actions that count.

The inner jacket was green. You saw it now and again.
I think that's part of her beauty...that she's a good person.
Hurrah for tall girls! They says US girls are taller and taller. Maybe the fashions will (finally) change so
a normal woman--not twiggy--can find something to wear.
