I could not really get into the flow of it myself.

Not a fan, but not the worst.

BTW, kinda liked the cockney puzz once I figured it out.

That puzzle took work! Is overtime pay available?

Nice to learn the identities however.

In principle (or is it principal ) I liked the idea of this kind of puzzle.

In application, however, I suspect non-U.S. Sploofusers will find this potentially frustrating. I had an issue with a name that had a spelling different from what was written in Wikipedia (which I always use to check spelling). Oh well - it only cost me 10 letters.

(Just in case, I'm going to submit a Support Ticket if this was a misspelling.)

I had the same one Pepper and apparently there are two acceptable spellings - I of course chose the wrong one. Agree with you about the US slant - but we better be careful what we wish for - or is that don't wish for

Hey Pepper, no worries, us non-USA players are used to it, had one earlier in today's puzzle. This was a comme ci, comme ├ža puzzle. At least I didn't get a headache

This seemed to be similar to PMB's 4x puzzles which I enjoyed, and I enjoyed this one.

I liked it but took exception to one puzzle which used only a person's last name. Felt that was inconsistent.

I have absolutely no idea who most of those people are!

NYU put out some famous names!
Me too, I was surprised by two of the spellings.

I found myself doing a few after-the-fact googles ...
