This is one of the most incredible renditions of this that I have ever heard. It was filmed at the Collosium in Rome and their voices are amazing........the bag pipes are the crowning moment. Absolutely stunning.

Damn it, Marsha, ya made me cry Love those voices, love the bagpipes (can't understand why some don't like 'em). This song & Danny Boy get me every time.

The video is absolutely amazing - pun intended. Such wonderful voices and the setting is magnificent. The bagpipes are hauntingly beautiful, too.

Several years ago the state Fallen Firefighters Memorial ceremony was in our corner of the state and another reporter and I covered it. At the end, they rang the firebell for the fallen firefighter's last call, and then a lone bagpiper played Amazing Grace as he led all the firefighters out of the ceremony. I don't get very emotional but that brought me to tears.

Amazing Grace is beautiful itself, and then add the bagpipe music and it created a special effect on people.

thanks for sharing that link.

It gives me cold chills and goose bumps. SO, I'm bumping it up in case some have missed it.

Thanks, Marsha. I wish my grandfather were alive to hear that - it was his favorite song. Well, I am going to go wipe my tears so I can go to the dentist's office so I can cry some more! Really, Marsha, thanks, that was beautiful!
