I love Calvin and Hobbes! I was trying to find my all time favorite one which is Calvin in the Doctors office but couldnt find it. It got me wondering. What's your favorite?

C and H is right up there; tied with the two slightly more serious ones:
Doonesbury and Bloom County.

The Far Side!

(Sorry, I misunderstood and thought you wanted our fave C&H moment, of which I couldn't remember any. )

As to my fave C & H moment;

His parents are asking him to behave at table. Mum's cell phone goes off and she leaves the table.
Dad says: "I have these great genes but they are recessive"

Some of my favorite C & H moments are with Calvin's dad, too. I love where he tells Calvin that color was invented in the 50s or 60s, but before that the whole world was in black and white.

I have all the Calvin & Hobbes books, lots of Far Side, Pickles, Doonesbury, B.C., etc. Anyway, one of my favorite strips is when Calvin turns himself invisible. At the end, his mom wants to know why he's naked with his hand in the cookie jar. In another one, his mom is hunting for him because it's time for his bath. In the end, we see he's lying supine, hiding in the bathtub. He says something like, "She'll never look here."

Quack - I knew I liked you - Pearls Before Swine is awesome! I love the one where Rat is making motivational greeting cards. The outside of the card says "Believe in yourself" and inside it says "Because God knows, everyone else thinks you're an asshole". That one is on my refrigerator!

Calvin & Hobbs: Calvin asks his Dad how the weight limits on bridges are determined. Dad says they drive trucks of increasing weight across a new bridge, until one causes it to collapse. Then they build a new bridge just like it and post the weight of the last successful truck. (Well, I thought it was funny.)

On my refrigerator pig asks rat 'Do you think I'm fat' and gets the response Yes.
Pig says 'Most people say something reassuring when asked that question?'
'Let me reassure you, you're fat' .

My favorite Calvin and Hobbes has Calvin sitting on the Doctors exam table, ad he says, slightly exasperated, after Calvin frantically asks what one of the doctor tools is and how much it will hurt, "It's a cattle prod. It hurts a little less than a branding iron." Calvin promptly faints, causing the doctor to say that "These kids have no sense of humor"

Calvin and Hobbes is cute and funny. But my favorite of all time has to be The Born Loser.Sad to say it's sometimes prophetic of me

Martina, I think you'll appreciate my favorite Calvin and Hobbes:

Calvin: "I wonder where we go when we die?"

Hobbes: "...Pittsburgh?"

Calvin: "You mean if we're good or if we're bad?"

When one of my bosses got relocated to Pittsburgh i made him a leaving card with that cartoon on the front page...went down very well, although to be fair Pittsburgh had just beern voted number one city in USA.
