I'm in Heaven! This is awesome.

Now, before I get in any trouble, how long do we have to wait till we can discuss tonight's episodes?

Oh my gosh. I'm not sure where to start. I'll say one thing. I don't know how anyone will be able to watch this show unless they've seen a prior season. The one-hour synopsis was fine, but there are so many nuances and past references: the crashed plane with drugs, Ana Lucia ("Oh, and Libby says 'Hi'"), Hurley's father...

I need to rewatch the last hour then I'll be ready to discuss. Whew!

The people Sun wants revenge on: Jack and Ben?
The bleeding through the nose: because of exposure to the power on the island shifting?
The white haired woman at the end of the episode - Danial Faraday's mother? She was the same one at the end of Desmond's episode set in London?
Will Aaron go back to the island even though they've been instructed not to bring him?
Are we going to get whiplash from all the time shifting?

O.K. my questions are - who wants to know about Kate and Aaron and why can Ben go back to the island when he said when he was moving it, that he would not be able to go back. I'm SO confused! Anybody have any ideas? Thanks a bunch!

The bleeding nose is because she's going to die, I bet. Remember when they first introduced the concept of traveling through time and Daniel said you have to have an anchor to do it without going nuts and dying? She doesn't know that and doesn't have an anchor and they are all essentially time traveling right now. Apparently it's not affecting the Losties the same way, though, because apparently they are supposed to be there. Or, here's another theory.

Going back to the button, which had to be pushed to save the world. Button doesn't get pushed and all hell starts to break loose until Desmond hits the fail-safe. Could it be that the button pushing prevented the island from moving in time and/or space. When the fail-safe was hit, everything is okay as long as everyone who's on the island when it happens stays on the island. Since the Oceanic 6 got off, things are going to get worse, ie, destroy the world. ?????????????

I had not caught the fact that Faraday's mother was the same one who explained things to Desmond! I just recognized the actress and forgot she's been on before. Good call!

My thought too was that pushing the button kept the island from changing time, and remember, there was one of those events when their airliner went down.

I'm almost to the point that I agree with Hurley. They really are all dead.

Island Hopping

That has new meaning! ha

Anyway, I had figured the island would just change times in one jump. Couldn't forsee the shifting back and forth, past and future.

I wonder if they just keep shifting, or they settle in some time. Did anyone see Ben set the machine for a certain date to go to?
