For the readership at large; I've obviously got too much time on my hands.

Sploofus 2.0 allows you to plug in questions about the quizzes you created.
This includes rating by popularity, and rating by difficulty. So.....

If you have set quizzes and got an EA, have you managed to create a quiz with no EA that is more popular than one with an EA? I have'nt -- I have quizzes with no EA and ratings between 6.5 and 8.4 but all the EA quizzes are more popular than all the other ones.

What's the most difficult quiz out there -- does anyone have a quiz with less than 20% success rate ( I have one at 18% -- and with a 7.5 rating which I consider amazing; normally low scoring quizzes get low grades).

I'm sure there are some spcialist quizzes that have only a few taking them. But does anyone have a general quiz that is both highly ranked (say over 8) and only a few have taken it? If so let us know!

I think you are asking about several different things here, but this is what I found in my quizzes that might be what you mean:

My 14 top rated quizzes all have EAs (something about the way EAs are rated means they can't get below a 7, I think).

But the next three, sorted by rating are these:
created 7/19/05 Nashville - the Robert Altman film 12 takers rating 8.56
created 11/7/05 Jasper Fforde and Thursday Next 14 takers rating 8.42
created 1/9/06 What the Heck is this Movie? (EA) 1260 takers rating 8.32

If the APR refers to the average percentage received by the takers, then my lowest APR with the highest rating is
Misquoted Quotes 172 takers rating 7.18 APR 28%

Is that the kind of thing you were wondering about?

YOu ask a good question,

I looked through some of mine and found:

No correlation with difficulty and rating.
No corelation with number of takers and rating
No correlation with the number of takers and EA awards.
No correlation with difficulty and takers. (as you know, I wrote a lot of quizzes aimed at 50% APR)

Paul Butterfield Band Fans 100% 16 takers at 47% right and 7.8 rating
Beatles Lines - Name The Song 499 takers at 69% right and 7.8 rating
Beatles' Titles And First Lines 371 takers at 88% right and 7.9 rating

Classic Television Trivia III (EA) 124 takers at 39% right and 8.9 rating

A very high correration with EA and high rating (the scoring method is probably at fault)
A very high correlation with number of takers and subject - TV, Beatles, Elvis, very popular. Esteric foods, religion, and technology, unpopular.

Believe it or not, my difficult general quizzes are popular, earn high ratings and never earn an EA.

This was an interesting exercise. My EA quizzes have drawn many takers, but my science based quizzes generally bring in the most. Not that that adds up to very many. My subject matter must be too obscure.

Folks generally liked the Speedy Gonzales quiz ... but I think it was because it was a fun and silly subject.

Note to self: Write more silly quizzes.
