WHAT'S YOUR SUPER BOWL PICK ???

For a little change in tone (to sound like Michelle O), how about everyone's Super Bowl picks and predicted scores. I've lost some interest with this site, it is getting depressing. Too many sick people, etc.

My thread and I forgot my score. Cardinals 28 Steelers 27----this is to win a ton of money, otherwise the Steelers will prevail and win by 14.

I've said it before...I'm an NFC fan so I've gotta go with the Cards. Score? 35-31

Kurt Warner will have to have a phenomenal day for this to occur, but hey, his team is in the Superbowl. Who would have thought that would have happened at all?

Happy to see the Steelers as the last AFC team standing though.

FYI:
The 10 year age difference between quarterbacks K. Warner and B. Roethlisberger is the largest in Super Bowl history.

Now I don't have a quandary.

Steelers 26 Cardinals 17

Steelers will win - I don't care what the score is - will be cool being the first team with 6 Superbowl titles. I can remember every minute of the other 5 like it was yesterday.

Slicko, I will root in your behalf (and my bro-in-law Steve) for Pittsburgh - one of America's great cities, love it a lot.

Can't help liking Warner, though, he's way hot.

Ain't gonna be busted up either way. I'm temporarily teamless with Gruden out of work. If he goes to Dallas I'll kill myself. If he comes to Jax I'm getting season tickets.

Hey Donna, Try the Dan Ryan or Kennedy expressways in Chicago. No caution flags there. BTW, if I lived near Jax, I would've had season tickets for the Bulls, too. Jack Del Rio is aces.

I'm not impressed with Del Rio, thought they were stupid to let Coughlin go.

Watch the commercials - that's what all the talk at work on Monday will be about!

Godwit! "Dallas" Rangers????

hahaha

But for those who don't live here, i can see how you'd think that. The "Dallas Cowboys" haven't been located in Dallas since 1971. (They've been in Irving since then, which is a suburb of Dallas).

The Texas Rangers are at least located in Texas - but their stadium has been and is located in Arlington (a suburb of Fort Worth and Dallas) since they left Washington back in 1972. They haven't won a game since then either. I don't think.

Well, unfortunately for those of us concerned with reality, history is written by the "winners" of course. The best team lost, and they will always be remembered as the second best team. Congrats to PA and all of their historically inaccurate recorded "wins". LOL. Really, I'm joking, I have to give y'all a hard time. Congrats Steelers. WTG!!! May you score a few more along the way....

That was an excellent game! It was great to watch. I cheered for the Cardinals but wasnt really invested in them. The Steelers made fewer mistakes, congrats to all their fans.
There were plenty of good plays and fun commercials. My faves were the first talking baby commercial and the Budweiser horse who brought back the tree limb...too funny! I didn't have my 3-D glasses so I missed out on that action, oh well.
All in all, good fun to end the season. So happy for you, Martina. You'll be happy for a year!!! I know the feeling!

I liked the precocious kid who negotiated a better bedtime at 4 and performed heart surgery at the opera with a ballpoint pen in his early 20s. Forgot what he was selling but it was cute. I liked the other Bud Clydesdale ads too (think there were three?), the dancing horse girlfriend was adorable but in the "immigration story" one I wondered why the 3rd generation American Anheuser-Busch horses still had Scottish accents.

It was a great exciting game, the very best kind where both teams played well and sometimes they both played dumb! There were many flags called, emotions were running high, as they should be in championship game. If you werent standing up, screaming for James Harrison when he grabbed the interception and returned for 100 yards, well you had to be dead! The Cardinals certainly were a great team and this was such a fun game to watch... I like how Ben Roethlisberger put it. The Steelers play for 60 minutes and you cant count them out until the last seconds.

Great game, Martina.

Steelers had it all the way.

(Seconds before halftime I was ready to post that the game was now going Arizona's way, and the Steelers would need to find a big play or two to win - like maybe another Immaculate Reception or two. And just before it hit the post button . . .)

But then again, who ever heard of Pottsville?

Okay, I have ------but I live in Pennsylvania.

A friend of mine had a Super Bowl party at her house, but it got so noisy, she went next door to a neighbor's house to actually watch the game.

After the Fitzgerald touchdown, she could not stand the tension -- she said she couldn't stand to see the Steelers lose -- so she turned to the Home Shopping channel.

But when she and the neighbor lady heard the screaming next door (at her own house), they turned back to the game just in time to see the replay of the Santonio Holmes touchdown.
