Wasn't too familiar with most of these but it was a lot fun working them out. Fine job Marsha - Thanks

Enjoyed figuring these out, and learned new book titles.

I thought I'd blown it when I wrote the wrong title on my last puzzle! I guess nine years in a bookstore has its advantages.
Very fun Marsha.

Interesting and challenging. I think Marsha exposed all of our ignorance very well.

Fie! It was just mean to include another book in the *Make Lemonade* series with the same number of letters.

And I'm embarrassed at how long it took me to figure out that it wasn't some sequel I'd not heard of called *Flotsam Illustrated,* but instead "*Flotsam,* illustrated by...." Tricky!

Every title had won some type of award. They really are all good books. Thanks for taking it.

Literacy and the love of reading are keys to a young person's success in school and throughout life, so these books come highly recommended.
Our local United Way has a wonderful Literacy Council as a partner agency and we are very active in an early education initiative.
I did more research after the puzzle and found out about the books that my clues discussed and appreciate Marsha's developing this puzzle.
The National Education Association has a suggested list of books for children also.
