POETRY

Got to appreciate the union of words, it makes us who we are.

It tears me up inside,
When one should move aside,
When one should shake and smile
And all the while

It tears me up inside,
No one else to confide,
A lonely independent decision,
A lonely one and no one to confide

It tears me up inside,
I watched you and believed in,
The way you were,
I needed.

It tears me up in side,
No comeback,
I was somehow less,
No comeback.

And writing offers some healing, in the writing, sharing and the union of words, in knowing one is heard, too.

Poetry can be healing in the writing of it and in the reading of it. Poetry also forces one to choose words carefully to maintain the rhthym and to share the author's innermost feeling in a brief way. I wrote poetry during a difficult time in my life and it helped a lot.

Thank you for sharing this poem.

In all my life,
I thought I'd never see,
A player as annoying,
as Sicko can be.

He cheats at every game,
Knows the definition of every word,
Some think he's kind,
I just think he's a turd.

I keeping hoping this hatred,
will sometime soon pass,
Alas it hasn't,
He's still a pain in the ass.
