CHICAGO SAYS, "SHOW ME THE MONEY"

Seems the City of Chicago has yet to be paid for the inauguration "Bash". The DNC says it is still reviewing the bills and all.

The problem is that they have requested all of the checks go into Ritchie Daley's personal account. That's whats under review.

Linda, surely you could add something to the regional foods thread --- you have been cross country -- maybe it will take your mind off stuff.

Correction: It wasn't the inaugural thing that hasn't been paid yet. It was the election night victory which includes pay for the extra police and emergency type workers guess it would be DC fir the inauguration-don't know if they have submiitted a bill or if they have if they have been paid-Linda

Only in an attempt to get you off topic.

If you don't like the thread topic-easy-don't read it. There are a variety of threads here so please don't strain your brain about what I choose to post. The "Chicago Way" is fascinating a microscopic view of the larger political scene and how it works-Roland Burris and who supports him when a prime example-Linda

We get it. All is lost. Abandon all hope ye who enter here. Everything is wrong. Nothing is right. You thought you saw a glimmer of hope once, but you were wrong.
Knock yourself out on these threads, it they make you feel better, in anyway, go for it.
But I am inviting you to shed the sackcloth, every once in a while and join the other threads. Not my threads, any of the other ones.

Hey Linda, Ask her if she'd rather hear me bitch about dumb questions and answers. Linda knows her stuff in my book and she could be my Chicago neighbor anytime.
