QUESTION NOT HERE?

Hi. I'm not seeing the trivia question?
I wait up for it and it's still a no-show?

Oh sorry, that was the 'last line ofthe joke' thread.

oh good. It's either mass delusion, or there really isn't a question.

still I don't get it.
Justin pull the finger out.

Still no question. But I got to wander around into various smart-people conversations.
Don't know what pull the finger out means. I'm thinking it's an across-the-pond thing. Whatever it means, I agree.
Justin should do it. No trivia question is THE worst.
Night all. Sleep tight. (you know what "sleep tight" means? It's about the old style beds. You know, I bet.)
Okay. Don't let the alligators bite. (no idea what that means, related to sleep.)

Maybe Justin is tinkering under the hood trying to fix the site a little.

While he is under that hood, perhaps he will either return the category exemption to all as very afraid i will again receive another "Music and Musiians" or take it away from everyone and level the field. Also fix the ability to search players by name and pull up old posts just to name a few-would settle right now for just any daily question and he can get to the changing of directions and other things in a day or two-Linda

I've been here since January of 2006.......this is the first time that I can remember NOT having a question of the day. That is the ONLY thing that some people play. I have gone beyond being disgruntled, dismayed, disappointed, dissatisfied and gone directly to disgusted.

Justin has been working on the timing problem. In order to work on that, he has had to temporarily disconnect some other things. I don't understand the computer lingo, but we can tell you that he is actively working on the slow down issues, and I'm sure the TQOTDs will be back at My Sploofus as soon as he is done.

Looks like we're all in the same boat, so what's the worst case scenario?

One question we don't get to answer today and a few hundred points nobody can get.

Somewhat short of dreadful, I think.

There is communication or at least was, Quack, on something called Sploofus Refugees. Someone else will have to post the link as I never remember it. Also you need to know that if you use it folks will then have your regular email. Me, I don't particularly mind and have heard from a couple of people that way that pretty much ignored me in Sploofus-imagine that LOL Linda

Go ahead and write country music quizzes. That way if they're lost it won't matter. Just Kidding (mostly).

Vickie, carry on with country music. I like it just fine. Almost the only decent stuff on the radio when you're driving across Indiana (, Sandy!)

The French like country music too, but they just don't look the part. The Bad Girls dancers line dance in the neighboring village with the very same songs you'd see with a similar group in the USA. I don't know, but the French in cowboy clothes is just too funny for words.

ty, Ken, knowing the computer dunce I am you know it is too complicated for me and I don't care if someone has my email-thanks for letting people know who might not want that though. Was I correct in saying that when you reply it shows to everyone-again personally don't care as pretty up front about what I have to say but might matter to some? Thanks again-Linda

I'm picturing bull riders and cow wranglers hurling ropes and punching brands; slurping down chilli and coffee by the fireside, all in France. A cattle run from Paris to Avignon. Fascinating. There's a good book there. It turns out Napoleon actually enlisted the Buffalo Soldiers to help him take Europe...Impressionist paintings of Cowboys are discovered...some fossil remains...even cave paintings of Cowboys.

I got Surreyman's question ... Which Welsh town is closest to Portmeironmaiden Village: Hay-on-Rye, Cheapscow, Barmouthmaiden or Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysillisurreyman? I was thinking of Llanfairwillbuthersisterwont, until I realized it had too many vowels.
