I just took a quiz (which will remain anonymous for now) that was just loaded with errors. It was in a field of science that I have taught for years - I know that the quiz is in error; no question. I have written (nicely) to the constructor, explaining each error - there were four questions that were a problem.

Here's my problem - I will never be able to know if the questions have been fixed, since I cannot ever see them again. I did not want to "report the quiz" because we cannot give reasons why we are reporting it. The quiz looks OK - its just that the answers are wrong!

I think, if we are reporting a quiz, we need to have the ability to explain what is wrong with it. I realize I am not the Science Police but I am really upset that this quiz is sitting there looking like this. What can I do?

You can give the reasons for your dissatisfaction in a support ticket.
I am sure we would all want facts in a quiz to be correct.
The Editors do not check accuracy of "facts" when they are presented in a quiz.

I think you are right - no support tickets are being read right now. That's why I didn't do that originally. In a quandry - Alice

Since you already wrote the author you should also write the support ticket anyway. Even though Justin is on vacation he still checks in periodically and support tickets are his first priority (after he's sure the site hasn't crashed or burned, I'm sure!)

This is the best way to bring Justin's attention to the situation and avoid any hurt feelings between you and the author!

OK, thanks, done. Certainly isn't a matter of seismic proportion; just thinking really that there has to be a better avenue for this sort of thing. Alice

Dear Alice, I think I know which quiz you are talking about. I did not say anything to the author, however, when it is fixed, if it will be, do we still have a chance to retake it? Maybe it can run again under a different title?
Thank you.
