I did the same thing the other night, finished it, and waited for my score to register, Sandy, and it came up some kind of error. I sent in a Support Ticket, and they reset it for me.

Enjoyed the puzzle! Thanks!

I got a "Sorry, you can not login to this WordPuzzle more than once. It appears that you have already played this puzzle. Please check the puzzle schedule for the next puzzle date and time and come back then" after I clicked on my first WP...
I should have expected a problem because the blanks were there for the letters but there was nothing filled in where there were no letters...just empty space. I also requested a reset.

Well, first of all, just so I don't sound completely negative in this message, I want to say that there have been some wonderful, witty, and fun Word Puzzles lately, and I've been neglectful to post praise and my appreciation to the authors who put them together.

And even if there is an occasional WP that doesn't quite click for me, I believe all WP authors deserve kudos and thanks for the time they put into their efforts.

That said, this particular WP was not only no fun, it was painful. I have no idea why I didn't bail--my only guess is some bizarre masochism gene that I didn't know I had. I don't know if it was the obscure subject matter in several of the puzzles, or it was the consistently odd choice of "differents," but I found myself randomly guessing throughout.

Let me assure the author that I will certainly recover from this trauma, and I really do appreciate the effort. However, I have asked my wife to shoot me before I start "Four Sames and One Different 6."

I make the same complaint each time one of these comes up, but it could be such a *fun* puzzle if only there odd word out weren't so *random.* If it had some type of tenuous connection to the theme (i.e., sheets, pillow, blankets, duvet, pajamas), it would keep players (i.e., me) from having to choose eight letters randomly to narrow down the hundred possibilities of "- - i - - e r" after I had solved the rest of the puzzle.

Broken record playing on deaf ears.

(And I still think, given the frequency of infrequent letters, that words are purposefully chosen as stumpers.)

I almost regret requesting a reset. I couldn't believe there were so many words there that I had never heard of. I used all but 1 letter in one of the WPs because I had no clue what the word was. After the 25th letter fit in, I still had no clue.

Not easy!
Thesaurus?- no big help.
Peppermint pattie on Mardi Gras?- big help. [also our local favorite pastry- the fastnacht!] Needed both yesterday.

Well, it was quite a challenge playing

I'd like to defend the puzzle setter against Donden.
The non-linked words were not random at all in the set I saw in a couple of examples and although the others weren't exact oppsites there seemed to be a themeatic link I thought.
An enjoyable puzzle -- especially by comparison to other examples of the genre.
