If so, what do you have (animal, breed, name, etc)?

We have two mixed breed cats, each about 3 1/2 years old now. Wendy is longhaired and solid white; Annabelle is a longhaired tabby with lots of white. We also have a registered QH mare named Jade. The whole family (except for the 2 1/2-year-old) rides her! Also have a Campbell's dwarf hamster named Coco and a betta (no name).

I have a red and blue beta fish named Debo and a black choodle (chihuahua + poodle) named Cheri.

I have two cats - Mia is a Bengal that came to live with me when sh retired from breeding. Mitchel is a stray.
Mitcehell is Mr Tom ' cat' Mitchell - named after 2 members of Wet Wet Wet. Je arrived at 2am through an open window in the summer of 2004. A really tiny thing half starved and about 6 - 8 weeks old. Neil Mitchell is the smallest Wet so thats howhe got that part - We hoped he would grow into a big solid cat and he has - Tommy is the Wets drummer and the tallest. So his name is really custom made for him.
One of my best ever decisions was to keep him despite haaveing two cats at the time - onehas since died.
If you have Felix cat food where you are the cat with the white nose and black over each eye on the packet is exactly like Miutchell to look at.

I have one dog, who I think is a little bit brain damaged and drives me crazy but I love him to death!!
His name is DIGGER, a cock-a-poo, 7 years old.
My son named him after the Liverpool (England) football player John "Digger" Barnes.

I have three big dopey dogs, all mutts, all strays I picked up off the street - my boys are Blackie and Blue (the bruisers!) and my big girl is Zoe.

Plus I have a 26 year old boa constrictor named Alice, who I inherited from my rocker-wannabe brother when his wife no longer wanted a snake in the house!

Tigger is 9 with long yellow fur and is leashed trained. He has also learned how to open doors. Ralphy, also 9, is Tigger's brother and is black and white. Petrushka, also 9, is yellow, and is a rescue cat. Klutzy, age 6, is grey, and is a rescue cat. Klutzy squeaks instead of meows, and always has. My namesake, Miss George, is a 4 year old calico, a rescue cat, and is the boss of the family.

Unlike my husband, our furry children do not play with the remote control.

I used to have a cat named Binx. I think Binx hated us.

We were told she was a girl, and so assumed that was right. Went to get her spayed... vet said "Can't find ovaries, but did find the family jewels." Binx is a BOY! Apparently it is easy to misdetermine a cat's sex when they are babies and black in color.

Well, Binx was too wild for us so we gave him away to a friend. That friend called us up one day and said his vet says, "Binx is definitely a girl!"

Still not sure which one is right. No wonder that cat hated us.

I currently have three famous pets. The two cats have starred in a Sploofus quiz (

Our dog, Cleo, the result of a demented barroom experiment (a cross between a border collie and a great Pyrennes), hasn't written a quiz yet, but she did write a book with the assistance of her former humans.

I don't have any pets right now. But, if we go back in the historical past, I've had the strangest collection. Besides a passel o'cats, we had a skunk and we had a pair of flying squirrels. We also had all the normal stuff like hamsters, etc.

Read somewhere that skunks combined the best virtues of dogs and cats. Whoever wrote that must have been on crack. What a terrible animal. We finally had to relegate Clyde to the bathroom, where he snapped at everyone who had to use the facility. He went to a forest preserve that had a protected area where he could live out his evil days.

The flying squirrels were really cute. But it really isn't much fun having nocturnal pets. We would open their cage at night and close our bedroom door, and they had free range of the apartment. In the morning, they would be asleep in their nest. Very cute, except when they got stuck somewhere. One morning we found one of them peeking out from the inside of a guitar. Oh yeah - turned out they unraveled some of the furniture to make their nest.

Three months ago I "inherited" a cat when my friend died suddenly. She is very shy and except for my friend, I was the only person she ever came to. She is a beautiful 4 year old long haired tortoise/calico named Nimbus. I swore I never wanted another pet, but now I can't imagine being without her. I am glad she chose me to be her "other person".

We have 2 cats: Girl Kitty (sometimes called Smelly Cat) and Gray Kitty. We have 2.5 dogs: Clyde who is golden lab and great pyrenese and weighs 180 pounds. He's almost 9. Pepper is a 2 year old blue weimaraner. The half dog is a mop dog mutt named Bucket. I count him as half because he went to live with my daughter in college so he isn't here right now but I expect him back any day.

Finally we have two horses: Rillo (short for Amarillo) is a 15 year old mustang/arab cross mare and CeeCee is a 28 year old toothless gelding that has taught many little girls in my family how to ride. He is now retired and we feed him mush twice a day. CeeCee is starting to get senile and I caught him licking the riding lawnmower in the barn the other day.

Great stories, wow. They make me wanna leave city life behind so I can surround myself with flying squirrels and boa constrictors and lawnmower-licking horses. My dream has always been to live with and really get to know a great ape, either an orangutan or a chimp. As it is, got a great little mutt called Taxi.

Growing up out in the country, our family was host to a bevy of cats and dogs. Most memorable, though, was the racoon ... also a nocturnal creature. His name was, of course, Cooney. Lots of fun and mischief. He finally grew very large and moved to the woods. He used to visit us upon occasion.

It saddens me to tell you that I must amend my pet post. This morning, we discovered that our old friend CeeCee, the 28 year old toothless horse, had gone to that big green horse pasture in the sky. CeeCee performed in many parades, clinics, shows, and taught a lot of little girls how to ride. My older daughter who just turned 23, learned to ride him when she was 7 with just a piece of bailing twine around his nose. He taught many to ride in between and finally came back home to teach one last little girl to ride and retire.

Where ever you are, Old Man, I hope you got your teeth back. Thanks for the good times....

So sorry about your loss. I always feel horrible for people when they lose a pet. One of my friends dog died the other day. He has 2 little girls and they are devastated.
I have 2 dogs- a black lab named Chesney who is 7 and a springer spaniel named Brandy, she is almost 4. They are spoiled rotten.

Two mutts...Tyson (he's black and bites ears) and Maggie (short for Sugar Magnolia, going back to my days as a Dead Head). He's part Pit/Part Black Lab and dumb as a rock, but the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. She's his exact Polar opposite, way too smart for her own good with a whole lotta attitude!

One guinea piggy named Naoplean but he gets called ratboy most of the time.

2 tiger striped Oscars that jump out of the tank at feeding time.

Mom's westie named Katie & scottie named Zoe.
Our new bulldog puppy girl Georgia (pic on my page)

4 cats: Jesse, long-hair solid black male diva and eldest - Logan, "tuxedo" kitty from the pound - I think his mom was on crack, he's nuts - Shugie (like sugar with an eeee)she's a tortoise shell, small & a b**** - and newest orphan boy Gravy - my daughter named him gravy, she gets gray/gravy confused. He is white with gray tabby splotches.

I really want a "fainting" goat, but in a subdivision, we're not supposed to have farm animals. But the neighbors have chickens! I want my goat!!

My aunt had a pygmy goat. They got caught with it and had to get rid of it. Can't keep exotic pets in their town.

I have a Lhasa Apso named Sasha who is 4 years old. Throw in a black long haired mixed breed cat named Sadie (I like to call her Miss Priss) and a 55 gallon aquarium full of fresh water fish and we have lots of fun! I suppose I could throw in my twin boys as pets, since they like to act like animals somedays! LOL!

Thanks Jedley. He was super old and every day I went out there, I expected that he might not be there but you're never fully prepared, I guess. We are all done mourning here but I haven't yet told my sister who lives in California. He started out as her horse. He was a good friend to many and if there is a special horsey heaven for the keeper of little girls, that's where CeeCee is now.

Ah shucks, I'm getting all misty again.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my 19 year old cat Amy about a year ago. She had so much energy that I thought she might live forever. My chihuahua Chico was 14 when he died from an enlarged heart and my Shipperke Ebony was 15 when she died. I'm not lonely though I still have Cleo my fluffy black girl that my girls brought home 12 years ago. Then there is Fred my orange and white tabby who decided that our home was better than the one he had. My short hair black, tiny but spunky 10 year old girl named Bat and her two boys a part Siamese Romeo and Hershey who is black like his mom. They are both 9 years old. Then there are the two cats that my daughter left me when she married ( Her words, "Mom they are happy here and I don't want to upset them") Cierra and Shasta. I can't remember how old they are but I wouldn't mind if she came and got them. We also have a pup named Wilson. He is 10 months old and getting bigger everyday. He is Rhode, Yellow Lab and Blue Heeler. He looks just like Old Yeller. Add 1 hamster, a 75 gal. aquarium, 3 kids and 1 husband.
