Great puzzle- variety of examples.
Got one without any letters so that helped my score a lot.

Check it out.

This WP is so popular that it has TWO threads.

Hey Gang:

I really want to thank BigDavy for beginning this thread, and for everyone who has participated, it was really kind of all of you, and it means a great deal to me.

I’ve been a member of Sploofus for a while now, but this was my first foray into puzzle writing – and this is my first forum post!

I’m truly awful at all kinds of puzzles, a kind of equal opportunity quiz-misanthrope, if you will allow me the melodramatic and wholly made-up description.

Honestly, I am in awe of those of you who dash out answers (especially those who don’t Google) like chomping chips and dip. I am so far below that it is ridiculous. Actually, I primarily play the TQOTD, and am lucky to be mediocre.

I have amassed a small amount of points, and am sure that my meager total will barely move during the rest of this year, much like the Dow (or should I say DOWN) Jones Stock Exchange. Actually, that’s OK with me. I don’t stress out too much, nor do I beat myself up for losing points. I’m also not very competitive so my position, visávis other players, is not a big deal to me. I must admit, though, that it does bug me if I lose a badge (we DO want those stinking badges!), but other than that I’m pretty zen about it all.

While I don’t really have skills at solving much of anything, I do like to write almost everything, which is why I thought I’d give puzzles a go now and then.

Thank you again for being so kind, and supportive of my freshman effort. I hope your patience continues as I try to learn the types of puzzles you like to tackle, then sit back and watch you solve them in nano seconds!

Will post the full puzzle after everyone's finished!
