First you complain because I don't give a source-now I have and will look further. As the one BLOG pointed out it will most likely not appear as a news item on any of the major networks-if you don't care, you don't have to investigate. Myself, believe there is big money behind politicians on both sides and want to know about that. So feel free now to ignore my sources ass you are also free to ignore my posts entirely-bet you hate the person who taught me to cut and paste LOL Linda

"Don't expect to see this story on NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN and probably not even on Fox News."

"RATIONALE_THINKER" and "AtlasStalled" are not news sources.

I am thrilled that you learned to cut and paste.

The beauty of posting is that just as you can post what you like, and I can respond to it. If you don't like my responses, don't post. It works both ways.

I have been so incredibly naive for most of my life... Linda

I personally find Barney rather annoying, but the kids love his big purple self.

Why do we want to see Barney in jail? Geesus Linda, he's just a lovable purple dinosaur. Think it's really harsh to want to see him jailed.

LOL just in case you are interested, Chick, Blago will soon have a new book out and there is an investigation about Roland Burris-perjury charges-concerning his conversations with Blago-just because I am concentrating on other things, do not fear-have not forgotten the "Chicago Way" "Dealeo' Linda

Linda, get real.

If you have political connections (e.g., Charles Keating), you can maybe keep the bloodhounds off your case for a while, but that's not why Madoff is not yet in jail. He's not in jail because he's still helping the cops unravel his finances and probably because he is also squealing on his assistants.

He well might be plea bargaining too, but he'll be in the slammer for a long time.

Linda, You have to understand one thing. If they had an election for Senator, Burris would've won by 15 points , Ask Chickie.
Burris is truly a good guy and always worked for the people. Reporters and news people can twist words and make anyone look bad. Did you ever watch FOX News ???

Bill, Fox doesn't twist their direction any further than MSNBC or CNN twists their direction. I don't understand the desire to pick on one news network over the others. Leaning is leaning. It's either ALL wrong or it's ALL ok.

I think Barney would have been a great senator ... Blago missed the Big Bird/Barney wrestling match!

Yea but if Barney were Senator, Linda's post would read:

PURPLE PEOPLE EATER LIVES

"Can you BELIEVE that he promised us he wouldn't be purple, I mean COME ON he said he was finished with purple and now LOOK at him? I gave him ONE MONTH to change his color, but he has seriously disappointed me.

And his cabinet? Christ...Baby Bob, are you serious, that dumb dinosaur one time ate an innocent toad, and we're supposed to take her seriously? And BJ? I watched MSNBC and they said that BJ one time had an amphibian housekeeper that he didn't pay taxes on, now they're investigating ALL yellow dinosaurs for potential "Homeland Security" violations".

Would be fun though.

Chick you really need to return to your old avatar-liked it so much better and it fit you better. And Bill, just for the record, I do not believe Burris nor Blago are any worse than the rest of the DC folks-Blago just got caught and rather looks like Burris might have too. Chick, this was my issue a couple of days ago or at least a couple of hours ago and was actually only using it to show Penn that some anti-Sploofus person had taught me how to "cut and paste"- guess now I will join the rest of you who have been able to do that for a long time and quibble not only about what I say but the validity of my source LOL Linda

Unfortunately, HRH, Obama has already broken his pledge on earmarks. BIGTIME!

And now is ideological agenda threatens to plunge the nation into a much deeper recession/depression. He has scared to the sidelines those who invest in new enterprise and create the jobs. The Left likes to ridicule "trickle down." However, without "trickle down" an economy stagnates and even goes into reverse. Today we are in reverse.

The economy was in serious problems long before Obama came along, we're now experiencing the domino effect. I never believed he could work magic, changes will take some time to make a difference. Roosevelt's New Deal was not an overnight sensation

I support real stimulus efforts today, Randy.

However, this is not the right time for his ideological agenda. The economy needs to be nurtured back to health first.

FYI without the subprime problem (which has numerous authors) the economy had been quite good.

I don't pretend to know the Stock Market but p[people who seem to say it is forward looking. The fact that it has steadily declined since Obama was elected tells me something- Linda Perhaps if he did not need to take a teleprompter every where he goes, what he says might instill more confidence. Never cared for the personal aspect of Clinton probably much for the same reasons as Ted Kennedy, but will give him credit that he spoke without notes and whether one agreed with him or not it hinted at least at sincerity. If people could only have defined "IS" correctly.....LOL Linda ( I am totally sick of the 'inherited"mantra. I might have a bit of compassion if he was not using his personal popularity to change the whole social structure of the country while committing huge sums everywhere all the time ignoring the financial thing.
