I have had a problem with one of my quizzes and can't seem to get it resolved. My "editor" keeps sending it back saying that Covent Garden is misspelled and that is totally not correct. How can I get this fixed?

When you resubmit, add a link to a website about it.

Im getting confused. Im shaking my head a lot lately. Am I the only one? Why should the author have to prove that Paris is NOT spelled Parris?

A link to a website is a good idea. You could also include a note that says you intended to spell it that way However if you return a quiz with no change and no explanation we tend to think we have been ignored! A simple note is sufficient.

We are not perfect...I have written quizzes that have been returned for spelling, as have many other editors! It is oftne just the outside eye that is needed.

But usually a quiz is not returned for one small error like that...are you sure it was "Covent" that was the issue in the question?

I appreciate some of the editors who, when questioned, respond in a reasonable and non-defensive manner. Some come out on the attack.

Thank you, Sploofizz, for your professional manner in responding to this issue.

If your quiz cannot be edited by you, that is because it is awaiting the Editor's next move.

It only gets confusing to have you resubmit the quiz under another name, so I'd like to discourage anyone from doing that anymore! Besides, the new version goes to the end of the queue, while the original quiz is at the front of someone's list.

If you are just trying to get a DIFFERENT editor, this probably won't work, since we all talk to each other about this stuff!

I will check things out and see what I can do...

I see it is all resolved now, and everything worked out well

But please, in the future, do not create the same quiz under a new name.

Thanks for writing quizzes in the first place - quizzes are a big part of what Sploofus is all about!
