6 YEARS AGO TODAY.....

Operation Iraqi Freedom is launched with air strikes on Baghdad, the beginning of the war with Iraq.

Hard to believe it's been 6 years already.

Whether you're for or against it doesn't really matter, THEY'RE THERE, and they need all the support we can give them. I want them home as much as everybody else.

Make sure you keep our troops in your prayers continually. I know there are many who read this who have loved ones overseas fighting for freedom, make sure you pray for them as well.

THANK YOU TROOPS, FOR ALL YOU ENDURE TO PROTECT OUR FREEDOMS!!! WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!

I didn't post this to start a political debate, just as a reminder.

If you want to start a debate on whether or not we should be there, PLEASE, start your own thread.

Agree - the troops need all the love and respect we can give them. Thanks men and women of the armed forces.

God bless all of the military men and women who are serving our country, especially the ones in war. Also, their families who miss them and go on without them each day.

Ditto, those brave men and women are doing an incredible job and risking their lives while some are paying the ultimate price by losing their own life for their country. We should always honor and respect them.

Hard to believe that its been six years.

As an Air Force mom, to a son who served in Iraq, the support is appreciated.
God Bless our Troops!

My Marine son says any further wars will be fought in the front yards of the United States and that our troops in Iraq prevent that from happening in this time. My greatest admiration, respect, and gratitude for our men and women of the armed forces in Iraq and anywhere in the world, where their very presence works to keep the United States safer for our families, friends, and citizens. May you be well-trained, and may God and your training keep you safe to return home soon.

Martina, at last we are on the same page. I am an Air Force Dad. My son has been deployed for a little over a month. We never know where he is or what he even does. He contacted me 2 days ago (on FaceBook) to let me know that he is in a safe place. Thank your son for his service for me. My oldest son was in Iraq (a Marine) in 2003 so I do know what you are going thru. God Bless all of the Sons and Daughters in our Military Service.

Those who want to help, Adopt a Soldier is a wonderful way to do that. I have 2 soldiers that recieve care packages and letters from me telling them who won the world series and such.
