And well done collioure for heading the list as I speak; it was indeed a very well researched ypough and entirely fair.
(You really had an hour to spend on a WP -- life in Fance must be laid back!)

I wasn't sure what I was getting into either, but I found the WP to be fun and interesting. Not very good score, but so what? I learned some things which I shall try very hard to work into a conversation in the next day or two!

Thank you, Barry. I'm sure Donna and a couple of other aces will better my score before nightfall over there.

I watch TV and do other stuff while taking my time with WPs. Today it was lunch break between 3-hr stints in the garden. Even with several bridge tournaments, one afternoon hike, several aerobics classes, tutoring, shopping and doing most of the cooking here every week, I still have lots of free time.

Not a bar hopper and the first puzzle was a crawl to say the least.
Actually all five made me crawl to the finish, but kept all my points- so okay!
Time for a drink!

Learned new things so that was another nice feature of this puzzle.

Al, did you get the phrase with your local hero yesterday?

Interesting stuff but it was hard 'cause I saw 2 pink screens & still stayed in the top 10.

Back in the 70's we had pub crawls on Bath Tub weekend in Nanaimo. Great fun, walking & singing between pubs. After 3 years the police shut us down, said we were a mob. None of us caused any trouble, no vandalism or fighting or even drunk driving, just loud singing but as it finished by 9 that shouldn't have been a problem. Most popular song was Pick A Bale Of Cotton which required acting out the song. Think I'll go grab a beer, this reminiscing is thirsty work

This was a fascinating puzzle, thanks! I learned a lot and had fun, too!
