I've come across some quiz authors who have no public profile. I can understand that there might not be one if the person leaves Sploofus, but why would there not be one for an active participant? I came across this when I looked up a player whose quiz went live 16 minutes ago. I looked because professional in the title was spelled proffesional, and I wanted to see whether there was a spelling variation where he/she was from. I clicked on the name and read the message: "This user does not have a public profile available."

Hmm, I have no idea. I will check with Justin on this one, because it seems like a glitch of some sort. I found the quiz in question and corrected the typo in the title (hate those!). You're right-- typically that message comes up for players who are no longer active Sploofus members.

There are times I find many of these. I always try to eventually go and take quizzes of people who have been kind enough to take mine and write me a note. I don't always get to them right away Some may have left, but I don't think all of them have. I wonder if they don't have a public profile, so they can hide and bomb our ratings. I know Sploofus has hopefully solved this, but did wonder. Oh, well.
