SPLOOFUS GOOFUS- WATER ICE NAMING CONTEST

Rita's Water Ice, a franchise company with over 500 locations and growing----- has a contest running to name their new 2009 "Mystery Ice."
There are a lot of entries but none as good my suggestion- SPLOOFUS GOOFUS!
Well, the only way it will win is for all Sploofusers and Sploofusians to VOTE. [Voting ends April 17]

Some rules below:
Find your favorite name and click on as many "Ice Guys" as you think it deserves. Five Ice Guys is like "the coolest name ever." One Ice Guy means "Yeah, it's okay." You may only vote one time for each flavor name and you may not vote for your own submission. Voting goes on until April 17th when the highest ranked names become our finalists from which Rita's will pick the winner.
There is a search box to help find it- SPLOOFUS GOOFUS [submitted by alvandy, of course]
When you locate it, click on FIVE ICE GUYS please.

It's a hassle I suppose, but it will get Sploofus more fame!

Thanks
Al

Why do they call it Rita's Water Ice. Like isn't ice usually made from water?

thank you Pennwoman/ Martina.

That will speed things up.

Collioure: yes-- Rita's [American] ice is made from aquafers or spring "h2o".

But in France- it might be derived from bidets.

Yes- please use the SEARCH BOX!
There are too many weak, limp wristed, slushy, namby pamby nominees. Too many pages to sort through.

Make sure you spell it correctly- SPLOOFUS GOOFUS

I can't vote for my own entry because of the rules.

Hmmmm- maybe from my office! They won't block that website address. [Sploofus is blocked however- boo hiss].

Thanks to all who are participating. If you live near a Rita's , they will give you a free sample of the mystery flavor.
Soon to be called SPLOOFUS GOOFUS

But Sploofusers are synonymous with the competitive spirit of a Michigan State.

I keep voting but the average rating of Sploofus Goofus remains under 4. It is important to vote a 5 by clicking on the last symbol to the right - the one that is darkened.

In fact I can vote every time I run CCleaner to delete the cookie from Rita's.

Not that this would be ethical or anything, but can we also "bomb" the other contenders (especially the leaders) by clicking on the "One" ice-guy to give them the lowest vote? That should lower their average score, correct? Unfortunately, "Summer Utopia" has 90,000+ votes so we probably can't do much damage there. But "BERRYed Treasure," the current leader, has only 303 votes so we might be able to bring them down a notch or too. (Theoretically....)

Sploofus Goofus is currently ranked 110th. The fine print says that the Rita's company will select the winner out of the top finishers, so we don't have to be in first place (but we'll have to do better than 110th).... Keep voting, remember to click on the fifth guy even though he is grayed out.

Other than Sploofus Goofus, I think my other favorite nominated name is "Sushi" because it's funny to think of buying "Sushi" water ice -- but I don't think Rita's would ever pick that one!

I know why its getting less than 5's. Because other people are voting, not just us. You can only vote for sploofus goofus once, but you can go back through all the flavors and give them all a score of 1, bringing down their totals. So you vote for sploofus goofus at a 5, and the rest at a 1.

If she showed you a picture of the lawn chair, chances are that IS what she wants. If you want to be imaginative, go ahead, but I would keep the chair in it somehow. I don't care if it is appropriate or not. And as Marsha said a woman always likes to be surprised (pleasantly) and swept off her feet. Keep the chair in there somewhere.
