So many times the quiz authors here feel sad when their quizzes disappear off the front page with very few takers, and feel like these quizzes have been lost in cyberspace.

I would like to feature these quizzes in a Tournament!

But I need your help to find these quizzes! Just list the quizzes you have written that currently have less than 10 takers. Please don't include anything that was launched in the past month (they have had enough time to languish in anonymity) - let's say any quiz launched on or before February 28, 2009 is eligible. (And it has to have been written after Editors started editing, so nothing earlier than October 2005)

Just post the title here, and once there are 15 eligible quizzes I will build a Tournament for them!

Of course, listing them here might entice people to take them, so some may have more than 20 takers by the time the Tournament goes live.

This is just a little "thank you" for being a Sploofus Quiz Author!

OK - I am in.

I just went through my listings, and discovered I've had quite a bunch - and they are really old.

Assuming you're taking one/customer, my best one that no one took was:
The Prisoner TV series

The others that were ignored ( some very understandably) were:
Christmas Eve on Sesame Street - the Video
College Tour #2
Aquacise! Everybody Into the Pool
The New Postal Rates (US)
The Sleuth is a Chef
Camp Fire Girls

I don't have any with less than 10 takers, but these three all had less than twenty:

ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards: Ian Rankin
Andrea Bocelli: An Extraordinary Voice
ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards: Ruth Rendell

I hope it was due to brisk movement on the queue so they fell off the front page very quickly, rather than anything else ...!

I started saying "less than 10" and then decided to make it 20, but I missed changing it in the text.

So go for any quiz with 20 or less takers.

And I'll take two from any player, but no more than two (or you you'll have a hard time playing in theTournament!)

8/13/07 Stardust – did you read the credits? 17 takers

I'm sure you'll find enough people to make the total easily; but one of my highest rated quizzes (8.33) was peers of the realm -- not! 23 takers though.

Nashville - the Robert Altman Film (10 takers)

Jasper Fforde and Thursday Next (15 takers): surely more people then that have read this book's certainly worth reading IMHO. If you are a fan of Hitchhiker's Guide, and you've read some of the classics (especially Jane Eyre), then you should love these stories!

My first quiz ever has less than 20 takers, 19 to be precise. I have had 19 takers for almost a month now, I would bet my bottom dollar than I will not pass the 20 takers unless I advertise it. I do not know whether I am elligible or not because I wrote it at beginning of march. The title is "Trivia Mixture with an Anglo-French Touch", the quiz is a difficult quiz about random trivia facts connected to the famous folk (such as John Cabot and Cary Grant) of the town of Bristol in the UK, nothing french about it..Cheers..Didier

Out of 269 quizzes I have made so far, the fewest responses is on a 3-14-07 North Dakota quiz with 22 responses.

See if you changed the name to Dakota (like the ND senators applied to) you would get more takers than the quiz on South Dakota.

While looking up the quizzes you identified, I found a few others! This Tourney is now slated to begin May 20, 2009.

I fudged on the dates a little, if the pre-editor quizzes would pass editing now.

If anyone else wants to put in some suggestions for the next "How Did I Miss That" Tournament, feel free to list your quizzes here!

I took a quiz in there that is an absolute diamond I would never have seen. (women in china, I forget the exact title).

Thanks for providing these a second chance.
(I have to say I did NOT submit my Emperor's New Groove quiz it got in there by accident and I never meant to impose it on anyone. It's not a bad quiz it's just about such a limited subject.) Now my Rosa Parks I'm really proud of because wow she did SO much more in her life than just sit on a bus seat.

So I hope people liked it; and thanks for giving it a second view. I think the under 20 quizzes is a fun idea. Thanks for the thread.
I did worry that in order to complete the Tournament you are forced to take ten...if you don't find ten you like you may give poor scores. Which means you could end up with poor scores for your under 20 quizzes...where if you left them alone (never entered them into the tournament) you'd be better off.

Maybe under 20 tournaments should have more than 10 quiz options? Donno if that is possible?

I should see what my player numbers and scores are like, before I talk about this. It did occur to me, when I submitted my under 20's. Thanks! They had few players, but good ratings.

This is the only quiz I have with fewer than 20 takers......kind of an obscure topic.

Oh shut my mouth! I checked my ratings after the Under 20 Tournament and everyone was very generous with ratings. Quite a few players too, even on my goofy Emperor's New Groove quiz. I had said before I thought maybe with so few options, people would rate low, since they have such nerdy choices! But, no.

So....she said, rather chagrined, "Never mind."

Dear Forum,

I never thought this would happen to me, but ...

Even if people never flocked to my quizzes, I had a loyal fan base. I could count on at least 30 or 40 takers for even my quizzes on obscure subjects. But maybe the site has changed. Maybe I have. I took a job a year ago that including commute eats up over 50 hours a week, and after over 100 quizzes, I was running short on interesting ideas anyway. But after I went on a memorable trip a few weeks ago to a popular destination, I figured I could throw together 10 questions. I went all out on the production, giving some interesting backstory, and accompanying each of the first nine questions with a photo I'd taken.

As a result, "Summer Vacation 2009: Costa Rica and More" earned itself an EA and raced into the Top 5 Quizzes on the site.

Well, the EA part is true, but would you believe it did collect over 100 takers in its first 5 1/2 days live?

How about 60?

Uh, 35?

Nope, this baby has up to now been taken a lousy twelve times, a couple of which came only after I practically bashed friends over the head to get them to take it. A few others I tried bashing, but only gave them concussions for my efforts.

It doesn't hurt all that much anymore. Do as you will.

What's up with that? Your quiz was really fun, so I hope that a few more people see this post and take your quiz. Try not to feel bad. One of my quizzes got 8 takers ... all close Sploofus friends.

Sorry you had to bash me on the head. I had the flu and I was waiting until I was coherent to take it.

Take it here, you guys!

This thread isn't to solicit takers. It's to resign yourself to the fate of many and submit the low-taker quiz for the Fewer than 20 Takers tournament. So it has a second chance at life.

So suggest you head-bash the editor, to get a second Fewer than 20 tournament going. Once in the tournament, a lot more players get to notice and enjoy your quiz.
