Worried about you guys and others in Tennessee. I've seen the devastation caused by the tornadoes. Also believe Kentucky suffered moving toward Atlanta and Alabama too it seems. Please check in you two and anyone else who lives in that area- Linda

Thanks for your concern Linda it is appreciated. We had some pretty bad storms with some wind damage in the case of trees and power lines down here. The worst of it hit in Middle Tennessee and across the mountain. there was a funnel cloud spotted up near where my sister-in-law lives near the lake but I don't think it touched down. My son Tim was at the fire hall in case of having to evacuate people near Watts Bar Lake. We are still under a severe thunderstorm watch until morning...Thanks again for caring girlfriend!

Glad to hear you're okay, so far, Vickie! We had a tornado watch until 4:00 p.m., and the tornado sirens went off at about 10:15 a.m. this morning. A tornado was spotted but never touched down. They are very scary as they can touch down anywhere.

Most of the storm went north of Pigeon Forge apparently, although we're still under a tornado watch for about another hour. We're in this area for the weekend. It looked like the storm front was going to pass thru our home region of Ky. Hope everyone else is also OK. Mike

According to my son's scanner there was a tornado sighted in Cumberland County, which is where Rocco and his family live. I'm not sure of the exact location though of where it was. I'll see if I can get a hold of him or his sister and get back with you all

Sorry to be so late in answering. We're all fine here. My son and granddaughters live in Murfreesboro as well as do my son-in-law's brother, wife and their two children. All made it through fine although much damage was done to houses in their subdivisions, some being totally distroyed. Several people were injured and some are in critical condition. A young mother and her eleven week old baby were killed there today. Please keep her husband and family in your prayers or thoughts. They lived very close to our family members. My granddaughters and son are here spending the night with us tonight. Glad to see that you're okay too Vickie and also Rocco and his family. This has been a disturbing day to say the least. I for one am glad its over.

Almost. Just south of Chattanooga. I was on the phone with my Mom last night when a Nurse ran in an announced that they were moving all patients to the ground floor due to tornado warnings. I am currently in Florida and have not been able to reach her agian. How are things there, Vickie?
