MONSTERS V ALIENS IN 3D

G'day guys and glams

Have you seen Monsters v Aliens yet?

I took Jacey to see her first ever movie at the cinema today. I don't know who was more excited

The 3D version was 20% more expensive, but i thought it would be worth it. When the film started, I had to keep taking my 3D glasses off, to see if the screen was any blurrier than what i was seeing .

I thought, "Geez, they haven't come very far in 3D technology - Maybe even taken a big step backwards!" The images were blurry, the credits were triplicated ... Bad experience so far.

"Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, sorry, but as you may have realized, the 3D element did not load, so we will restart the film for you in a minute".

WOW ... What a difference it made when the 3D burst to life! Suddenly, we became immersed in a "real" environment, both here in the earth scenes and also in space. It must have been good to keep Jacey still for 90 minutes (And me, I hear ya!)

Very cool effects! Funny characters. Good moral throughout.
I loved it and so did Jacey

I haven't seen the movie, but I played the PS3 game, and it was a blast. I'll have to nap a couple of my friend's kids and take them to the movie, per your recommendation. I'm not sure I've ever seen a 3-D movie, sounds neat.

I don't have any children or grandchildren, but I think I will have to borrow someone's to go see this movie. I loved the preview during the Super Bowl and have been waiting for it to come out. Thanks for the review.
