We hit 102 today in Phoenix (that's 38º C) - 16 degrees above average for this date. Too freakin' hot! It's gonna be a long summer.

Suzer, talked to my friend in Gilbert this evening. She moved there a year ago. She's so excited that it was over 100 today. I think she's crazy!

Last week we had snow, and this week it's rain
Don't care for extreme temperatures/weather....

In the middle of a glorious spell of weather here in London. Dawn to dusk sunshine, and temperatures in the late 60's F, even early 70's. Saturday sees a big free St George's Day folk concert in Trafalgar Square, and a Shakespeare Birthday bash on the South Bank.........To celebrate 400 years since his sonnets were published. This weather is forecast to hold out until then, it should be a great day out.

Clevercloggs, you're making London sound magical – and I've just this minute moved from there (harrumph!) Nice here by the river in Somerset, though. Hope you enjoy all the free events.

We're having great weather here in Little Britain, so I'm glad the motherland is getting its fair share. I feel sorry for those getting 100 already, I like hot weather but not this early. I pity all the plants, pets & people

It was nearly 80 yesterday and is supposed to snow tomorrow.

Now you know why I have mood swings.

YOU have mood swings???

It was in the 90's here........I detest summer. We only have two and cold.

It was 48, with a hard cold rain. BLEEECCH. The dogs, went to the door, stopped and threw me a look that said
"I don't think so" and turned around came back in. The cat, is looking out the window and had made herself extra fluffy and warm. The mallards where the only ones that seemed content.
But! Today is blue sky and fluffy clouds - still 49 but the potential is great!

I'll take a look around Frome, Clevercloggs. I'm sure there must be a blue plaque or something commemorating that special event!

It is nice here in North Carolina. I used to live in Arizona and I'm sorry when it is 100 there its not like 100 in the Carolina's. The heat is just different out west. Hey, its beautiful out there don't complain!

I don't know what the exact temp has been here in Reno, but the last few days have felt absolutely sweltering. I feel like I need another shower after a 30 minute walk. There was no transition either. It went straight from freezing rain and arctic winds to God awful hot. It's as if spring barely popped in long enough to say "Winter's gone, Summer's on it's way. See Ya next year."

This weekend is the first weekend of the New Orleans Heritage and Jazz Festival (I.e. Jazzfest; look it up). The weather is to be low 80's and full sun. YEA
