Thanks all - and sorry to those who may not watch animated films, but I hope everyone will agree you can't beat classic R&B music. Saw some terrific scores but had to run out and missed the last half hour so not sure of the final standings. I do know that Daveguth, Lamizell and Lucimoore were tops when I left - so congrats to you 3 and to whoever I missed.

Missed it, dangit! Had a very busy day with a class out of town, then returned home to find a beautiful and totally unexpected card in my mailbox (nestled amongst the dreaded bills) to remind me how special some folks truly are. A dear friend called me right as I was walking through my front door, and we had an amazingly wonderful heart-to-heart conversation. So even though I missed your WP, Slicko, it's been an awesome day! Wish they all could be as sweet, and wouldn't have traded a split second of it!

Catch you next time, for sure...

Okay, so here's my question.

What was the cartoon "rat" connection to the 5th Dimension clue on the phrase "Up Up and Flushed Away"?

I had a devil of a time with my first one & thought oh no, I'm in trouble, then breezed through the rest. Clever boy, Slicko

The animated movie Flushed Away is all about a bunch of rats including one that uses the toilet as a jacuzzi !

Loved it and was headed for a 5 until the last puzzle -- "A Monster House Is Not a Home." Tough one, especially since 1) I consider that more a pop number than R&B and 2) I know it as a Dionne Warwick recording, not Luther Vandross.

But perhaps his rendition is more R&B. I'll have to look it up.

It was a good WP. For once, I did not do too badly. Cheers. Didier
