Me thinks Her Royal Highness was far from amused. On the other hand, Philip and Harry were having a ball.

Yeah Barnie, we can say Swede, Finn, Brit, Pole, Czech, Aussie, etc so what do we call someone of Japanese descent without being politically incorrect? And why?

I would like for people to be civil to each other on this site. We don't have to agree and many of us never will......that is perfectly fine. BUT you are honestly acting like some of my students.....bullying and calling each other names. To me, right or wrong, that is NOT acceptable. If you can't be tolerant of other people and their views, don't read it and don't post that they are idiots because they might believe differently.

We each bring to a conversation our past history, family beliefs and whatever else that has gone into making us who we are today.

Barnie, Aristotle just shared a frightening incident from her past. It doesn't matter that it happened to her friend, it still affected her deeply. She shared her thoughts on Prince Harry and his actions. You are the one who played the racist card.

Please, just laugh at the photos and forget about name calling.

No, Aristotle's first post said: Prince Harry keeps using disturbingly racist language, so he ain't that cute!

There was no reference at all to what he said.

Thank you. Now we are back to whether it was Phillip that farted or not, not a discussion on racism, which aristotle changed it into.

May have just been an SBD.

Phillip does look rather proud though while the Queen just looks disgusted.

I've just picked up this thread again, as I have been away for a few days, and would just like to say thank you to Salzypat for arguing my corner and pointing out to Barnierubble what I actually wrote. I don't know why he thinks that someone objecting to racist language is a bigot, but that's his prerogative.

Look, Barnietrubble, I just gave my opinion on Prince Harry not being cute because he uses racist language. A perfectly valid point, I think.

I felt I had to delete several posts in this thread, as deletions by another party took my comments out of context.
