A little belatedly -- I just heard about this TV series starring Tim Roth (remember that slimy Archibald in the movie "Rob Roy"?) As always, Tim does a stellar job in his role as a person who can read facial expressions and body language to tell if someone is lying. It is well-cast. Wednesday nights on Fox.

I watch it faithfully. And love Tim Roth.

When it first came out, my husband turned to the kids and said "See that? See how that works? Don't ever lie to your mom because she can do that."

Yes, it is an intriguing show.

Blatantly rips off House

I watch it faithfully also. I think it is a very different premise than the usual detective show.

I know that House is a popular program, and I've watched it a time or two ... but it just didn't 'stick'. This show will because ... well .. you know ... Tim Roth He has moved into middle age quite nicely.

I really enjoy it, no lying.

It is a perfect way to learn how to find out if someone is lying to you, as one group on the show knows because they are kinda psychic and one group have studied it to tears.

I love House, too.

I can't seem to get into "House", even tho he seems to be an intriguing character. I like "Lie to Me" because I am a school Principal and I can learn things from it. The day after the show debuted , a student was talking with one of my staff, trying to weasel his way out of trouble. A colleague came alomg., watched the interaction, and asked the student to "tell the story backwards". I knew that she had seen the show too!

I also use that technique all the time.

I enjoy "Lie To Me" because I feel in love with Tim Roth after watching "Four Rooms". I watch the show more, though, to listen to my husband, who laughs hysterically at each episode. I just love to hear my husband laugh!!

I thought it was a rip-off of Psych. Not that I've watched it; I just thought it sounded familiar.

I would like House better if he could use his British accent instead of having to go all gravelly voiced to sound like an American. He's lovely as himself.

Lie to Me is great! I only get to watch it, however, when I am too sick to go to church. And lying about that, well, you know THAT guy can tell when you're lying.
