Just wanted to point out that today's Word Puzzle is by a Platinum combo. Allena and Garrybl got together to write this mind bender. We hope that this will be the start of other collaborative writing efforts.

Smaug, are you still platinum?

Of course the results of this collaboration may be so unpopular that it may scare everybody else off from trying....

Just in case anyone is interested Jim (Allena) let slip in a note that he was having trouble perfecting a couple of quizzes. One eventually appeared a few weeks later but I suggested he could send me a version and I'd throw in my two-pennyworth. It was a fun experience to be an editor for a day! (Or longer if you believe some people)

In case anyone is trying to work out who wrote what, Allena did the lion share.
And check:

Nicely done, Jim and Barry!

I generally stink at movie WPs because I don't watch many movies, but I thought this was clever.

I haven't taken it.

Just want to know into whose voodoo doll I should stick the most pins later on.

Good one, guys. It took one to sort out the concept, then a lot of head scratching.

Excellent, excellent.

Would have done better but I kept looking for the phrase "Saddle up for the VuGraph."

Oh, well;

You can say that again.

You can say that again.

I think I'd pay for a diamond-encrusted membership to see a SMALODIUG word puzzle.....

Really enjoyed that one! At first glance I thought it was a Garrybl puzzle and now I find I was half right. Good combo, Barry and Jim.

So, the real puzzle was not the WP, but "who is the author?"

Very enjoyable and twice as clever.

Good job boys. Clever

Now, I have a few ideas on WP's that I probably won't get around to, PM me if you want to do one & I'll sent you the preliminary research
