Wow! If Slicko can do this with Italian names, just think of what he could do with Mollusks.

Nice job, Slicko! Right now, I'm holding on to the #5 position ... 'Course, there are only 16 takers so far ...

Gary, you are a crazy man! Crazy like a fox.

Wow - that was brilliant! WPs don't get any better than that.

Yep, I agree, this one was a classic. No knock on "Caw Caw Caw" or any other WP, but I think it would have won the April WP contest hands down.

Highly entertaining and I think I did worse on his puzzle than he did on mine.

Brilliant!! Sadly I had a tech glitch and my score was incomplete -- I wouldn't have rated high anyway. Super fun.

Very clever and great fun.

(I might quibble with one clue which technically is outdated, but it did not affect my score.)

Thank you - and it was so quick I am off to the garden 30 minutes early.

Thanks to all - had fun putting that one together - congrats to Daveguth, Digs, Missoblivious, Virtus and Collioure who were the top five as of 7:59.
There might be some more famous food in store down the road!

No congrats to me, first loser at #11? Remember, if just one of you in the top 10 cheated, it's on your head .

Wasn't easy containing myself until the puzzle closed. Thanks for the reference to Joe Torre...reminded me of a joke with a similar punchline. (of course, the REAL reason I enjoyed this puzzle was because I finished much higher than usual!)
Many thanks, Terry

Very nice puzzle, but did you consider the clue with "Yankees" might instead be "Dodgers?"

I think my favorite phrase was: mozzarella fitzgerald was a jazz singer

But they were all goofy and crazy in a wonderfully fun way.

Sorry, Ken, I don't know how to cheat, and it's an honor to be right behind Virtus.
