I did a quiz on the 9th and one on the 10th of April and the one from the 9th is still pending. I thought that they went in order. I just completed another one and it is saying that only 11 are ahead of it. So what happened to the one done on the 9th. It is the shrimp recipe.

Sometimes an editor starts the edit and pulls it off the rotation. My quiz from 4/6 is still #1 and i have had 4 later quizes go live since!

I wonder why that happens? It is not a big deal. It will eventually get taken care of. I am just more curious than anything.

The quizzes are distributed, in order, to a random editor. When that editor pulls up your quiz, it then becomes their quiz to launch.

So, if the first one gets pulled up, and your editor has to step away from editing for whatever reason, that quiz will wait until they are ready to finish the checks on it. While they are away, another editor may get the next quiz you submitted and approve it.

A quiz can also be held off for suspected plagiarism or some other detailed reason. So your editor may have found a problem with your quiz and it is being held and verified, or your editor may have just had to step away from their computer for a while.

Either way, you will be notified about the outcome of your quiz.

Hope this helps clear that up a little.
