I am boycotting National Prayer Day because Bush did it and it is now not PC- so am going in the closet to say private prayers-

Many would have it that way, Linda. Every day is prayer day. Pray for our Nation's leaders no matter how inept they are.

You aren't going to believe this. I clicked on the link, just for the hell of it, and my PC froze !!!! I claim diplomatic immunity anyway.

I will be sure to pray harder today. In silence a prayer for all sploofusers as well. I won't be in any closet either.

Why thank ya' kindly ma'am !!!!!! I'm generally open to sending, and receiving, good wishes around cyber space. Although i think the world would function better without revealed religions, i totally accept that most of the people within those religions are there with the best of intentions.

Years and years ago when I worked Human Resources for Harrah's in Las Vegas the company let me reserve a banquet room for employees to use for National Day of Prayer. I thought it was excellent that they respected their employees enough to let us do that.

Now I work for the State, and I can't have anything in my office that could be construed as religious....I do, however, pray in my office any time I get the urge. They can't tell me not to do that!!
