SCI-FI 10 THINGS WP

This was a truly wide-ranging wp. I have to say I thought I was ignorant of everything to do with this subject (and I'm pleased to discover that apparently everyone else was so far!)

And ... when you google Sci Fi Critters, you get zero help!

Out of my league, for sure. Oh, in case anyone notices the 11,000 seconds -- I kept falling asleep! Silly of me to try.

Man. I was stoked to be in first place so far, but now I just feel geeky.

Nice puzzle Sploofusaurus! I liked the challenging wording - and the puzzles I got didn't need any special knowledge, though it would've helped in some places.

That was really hard, and I needed a reset. So did 7 phrases of which I could only identify with 2.

Like Lodi I'm out of breath.

No Alzheimer's tonight for sure.

I guess I must be a closet case sci fi geek because I was much more familiar with the subject matter than I expected to be. A very clever twist on the 10 Things About theme.

I'm a big sci-fi fan but needed to type in a lot of letters to nail down some of the phrases.
Knew the movies in my set except possibly "flying brains with spinning tails"?
Was that Fiend Without A Face?

Spent many weekends going to the movie house to watch those great sci-fi classics.
Giant Claw; Rodan; Attack of the Crab Monsters,e.g.
They weren't real, were they?

I enjoyed it. I relate to your feelings about The Blob. I can remember it on TV as a kid, and I would hide in the hall and peek around the corner to watch. It's freaky how movies/TV affect us as kids who can't completely process what we see or how it's created.

(That sounds like I understand how it's done now. I don't now, either.)

I was surprised that I did not get a negartive score on this one. I am not a big fan of Sci Fi, I found it very difficult. Cheers
