The one where Spock mind-melds with this rock-like thing who was attacking miners who didn't realize they were "mining" her babies.

I loved the "Tribbles" one and the episode where we meet Spock's parents (don't remember the name of that one.)
And, wasn't there an episode where they visit the Old West? That was a hoot!

It is hard to think of just one but it would have to be, "Shore Leave." The crew visits a planet of illusions, the rabbit from "Alice in Wonderland," fighter planes and Samurai.

A Piece of the Action - the Fizzbin sequence is one of the funniest in the whole series, but love that whole episode.

I couldn't begin to pick one from the TNG series -- I have seen them so many times, I know what show it is, just by a single phrase or sometimes sound... I liked DS9, Loved the Voyager season and I like Enterprise too!

The one where Marsha and Greg put too much soap in the washer machine, HAHAHAHA, great episode. Wait, Star Trek? I think I was too young to remember those......I liked the movie Nemesis for some reason if I remember right. And that character Data from whatever series that was. Sorry.

Hmmmm.....I'd have to say the one on Conan where Triumph the Insult Comic Dog interviewed a Star Trek nerd and asked him if he realized on the day of his birth that that was the last time he'd ever see a woman's vagina.....

I saw that dog during a bus trip to Toronto. I was walking by the convention center. It had a Worlds of Warcraft thing going on. He was attacking WoW fans. I looked at him and he looked at me and he said, "You look like a Warcraft loser. What's your name? Sir Geeky? I said, "Bob the Barker." He started picking on a couple of costumed kids.

I don't know Star Trek episodes by name, But I'd pick the one where the aliens are boxing in the Enterprise by building some kind of net/web, and the on about Eden, which embodies about every 60's hippie cliche possible.

I remember seeing 'Let That Be Your Last Battlefield' when it aired originally, in about '69 or '70. Heavy duty impact at the time.

Because I'm almost 53, Star Trek TOS is part of my DNA!! So, I'm only going to list my faves from it, although I have favorites from all of the other Star Trek series, too. And, because trying to reduce my pick to one or even five favorite episodes made me want to throw up, I have listed 15! Believe it or not, this meant that I had to sacrifice a few real gems that should also be here.

01 The Menagerie I and II, and The Cage (I know, I know, but I'm only counting these three episodes as one for this list!),;
02 Journey to Babel,
03 Balance of Terror,
04 The City on the Edge of Forever,
05 The Trouble With Tribbles,
06 Amok Time,
07 Mirror, Mirror,,_Mirror_(Star_Trek)
08 This Side of Paradise,
09 Space Seed,
10 The Naked Time,
11 Enterprise Incident,
12 Doomsday Machine,
13 Arena,
14 The Devil in the Dark,
15 Where No Man Has Gone Before,

It's pretty stupid, but this mere TV show has become a part of who I am as a person. Pretty geeky, but I was one of the original Trekkies (I was one of thousands who even wrote a letter to NBC to save the show), and I STILL am! (FYI: NOT a Trekker, but a Trekkie for me!)

Thanks to Mr. Sploofus for such a fun thread!

Hilarious! "Here are a few." !!? Too funny.

My favorite scene is Spock attempting to gain access to the computer where you have to ID your emotion.
"How do you feel?"
"Computer, I do not understand."
"Access denied. How do you feel?"
Kirk comes along, highly amused.

I enjoyed all of Kirk's overly dramatic, self-indulgent, patronizing lectures to all humankind at the end of many of the shows. Sincerely! Because he was really REALLY wanted the universe to get along and play nice.

What's that episode with the man who tries to hunt down and kill Kirk. It turns out he's just an alien child, in human form. His parents finally step in and scold the spoiled child, who was just having a day of play outside, and they save Kirk.

Emily - I'm 55, and I feel exactly the same way - in my DNA, part of who I am. I lived Thursday to Thursday as a teenager for this show.

Being a teenager was hard for me - who knows how many others Star Trek shaped their lives, inflamed a love for space travel and science, gave us an outlet for our dreams and aspirations.

Plus - I loved Spock all my life.
