Boy, does that bring back memories. And hubbie didn't have a clue.....which makes it even better.

Thanks for the memories!

Ugh. I despised the jump rope girls. Thankfully, we had two baseball fields on our elementary school playground.

didn't like this one. and it had nothing to do with the fact that I still can't jump rope.

Life was so much simpler then ... jump rope, hopscotch, marbles, jacks -- we were never bored. Anyone remember 'double Dutch' with two jump ropes? I'd break something if I tried that today.

Did anyone out there play Chinese Skipping ( no racial slur intended)? Mom sure hated it when we made off with all her elastic. I could do Hipsies then, even made it to Waistsies a couple of times, I'd be lucky not to sprain my ankle on Ankles now

Enjoyed the puzzle, Pat (it was Pat's wasn't it?)

It's interesting how different areas used different words. I could hear the girls from my old elementary school, but a couple of the rhymes were different.

Neat trip down memory lane, Pat!

It was cute, Pat, and fortunately very easy. Now I can lunch leisurely with Odile before she leaves for her walk.

I was on the baseball field with Lodi. In left field on this WP!

Pat, I loved your puzzle. It made me laugh remembering those days at school. There were no just for girls days in jump rope, the guys had to jump also and were usually better than anyone else. It was and still is a great cardio exercise. The P.E. teacher moved on to the high school with us and became one of the best known men's basketball coaches in the district.

That puzzle brought me back to the playgrounds of my youth, great memories. And then the memory of getting creamed by a stray dodge ball brought me right back to the here and now.

In all seriousness, a very fun puzzle and an original concept. Thanks
