As a member of Sploofus I like to write quizzes and in most of my General type quizzes I put a token Australian question... just to be fair. I like to include them as it is what I know well and maybe others will learn a little about Australia along the way.
one or two players make remarks that the quizzes I write have an Aussie bias. I try to write as "globally" as possible.
Do players need to be warned if there are more 2 or 3 Australian questions in a quiz? ... or is it just part of the game...
If I write an Aussie quiz obviously my questions will be about Australia and the players are "warned".
Tell me what you think!

I take quizzes because I like to learn things, not because I already know everything. I enjoy having questions about things I'm unfamiliar with, so I say, carry on!

Australians are the people in this world most like Americans.

But, of course, they're always looking up at us.

I think quizzes with questions from your country are great. I love your quizzes. Don't listen to comments and write quizzes that you want. Also I have always gotten on with aussies, must be their sense of humor. Believe me you don't have to look up to us, we certainly haven't been examples lately.

If we always take quizzes about things we already know, there is not much point in doing this. It is all about learning new things through trivia quizzes. Scrabq and you write up fantastic general quizzes about anything, anyone and anywhere. That is fantastic, if there are questions about australia the better. I always try to put a question related to my country in my quizzes. Quiz writing is all about the idiosyncrasy of the writer. Keep on the good work. Scrabq does not hesitate to put aussie orientated questions, it is very good. Cheers. Didier

I wrote a few Aussie'uns too, but do not recollect any adverse remarks from folks who were Un-Ozzarians.

Yup, keep going with your quizzes, you do a fine job of helping to make Sploofus truly multinational!!

It's Okay to be pre warned. For me, you don't have to do that. I love the suspense and the challege, I also love your quizzes because I want to know how much of a general knowlege I have for the world.

Do what ya wanna do, be what ya wanna be YEAH!

I agree with ya hun. People crack up coz ya throw in the odd curly question, Oz or not. Just ignore the narrow-mindedness and keep writing whatever you feel. You are the artist, after all. I used to write some quizzes and throw 1 or 2 Oz questions in, but the responses from players, even some editors was appalling. So now I write mostly US based quizzes.

I WOULD love to see you write more 100% Oz quizzes, but we all know how few takers those quizzes will draw in. It doesn't stop me

Dave ... you sure we look up to you or do you look down on us?

Dare to learn something on a quiz one day at the risk of scoring less than 80%. I dare you, guys and glams

Nice thread

It's either east-southeast or west-southwest of Wales.

The Windies are so scared of us they spent all yesterday doing rain dances in Durham. What idiot decided to stage a test match in the north of England in early May ?
