THE TRUTH DOESN'T ALWAYS SET YOU FREE.

Miss California USA thinks our President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton are on her side. It should be pertinent to "Miss California USA" that quoting both our President and Secretary of State Clinton as saying "marriage is between a man a woman" isn't the right quote to use. More quotes are needed since neither President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton are not big supporters of her stance on gay marriage. Anyhow, the truth really doesn't matter to Miss California USA now that we know the Donald says she is "not fired".

John Stewart finally got round to discussing this subject tonight.
Non-fans might be surprised that he took the (sensible) position that

1) surprise! pictures exist of amodel wearing approximately what she did in the bikini costume

2) her views should be nothing to do with her title

3) Trump is an aXXXXhole --well maybe he didn't say that and I'm imposing my views.....

(He also made fun of Arizona State University but that appears to be a little like mocking the afflicted..... too easy a target)

What this episode exposed was

1 the pettiness of one obscure commentatot (Perez Hilton)

2 The hatefulness of the intolerant Left once again

Fudypatootie,

"I think my faith is strong enough; my marriage is strong enough; that I can afford those civil rights to others; even if I have a different perspective or a different view" that is ALSO what our President said.

President Obama was a constitutional law professor( by the way there is not a definition of marriage in the US constitution), the President is a constitutional lawyer, was the President of the Harvard Law Review, and is now a President who knows what he is talking about. Plus, he's hip, cool as a cucumber, can swagger with grace and majestic elegance, and run circles around the "GOPers", with intellect and pragmatism.

What else did you read about President's Obama's stance on gay marriage? Do you recall reading the Rick Warren Forum? If you didn't watch or read about the Forum, you can hear for yourself and not equivocate what President Obama said on you tube!

She is a beauty contest for chis sake. She said that she respected the right of others to do as they please. She may have placed second in the nothing Miss USA contest but who the h--- remember the winner? She continues to get the publicity?1 which is what beauty queens and models are all about not their politics. Much better press than cutting ribbons at the opening of any K-Mart or riding on the back of convertible if they even still do that. Don't think she cares a bit if her precise words are in sync with either Hillary or Obama. She is getting far more press than Hillary of late with all appointments to oversee all countries she has pretty much ended up Secretary of Nothing. Perhaps she should say the things that the VP says as they are outrageous and get press too,. Besides naked or not Miss California beats Hillary any day- Linda

Yea, maybe Miss California can be Secretary of State, right after she is the First Lady of the United States, or runs for President, or gets her Law Degree. Yep, sure got Hillary beat.

Just an observation.

Is there a connection between the ads on the borders or bottom of the page and the content of the thread messages? Or is it just random coincidence when the ad matches the topic?
