I remember back in the day when nearly everyone had a Farrah Fawcett doo. I, myself, included. Does anyone if there were any men with her hairstyle?

Wasn't Steven Tyler's hair a little Farrah-like? Alot of rock stars had long layered hair, can't think of who else.

I wore my hair like hers also. So long ago....

I became a fan with her big toothpaste commercials - was that Ultrabrite? I'd never seen such a great hairstyle. Before she became famous, I was trying to find a hairdresser who knew who she was and could copy the hair. Nobody knew what I was talking about then, and of course that was before videorecorders or any way to grab a picture to show them.

I will probably never watch this special. When you've lived through it with a loved one, it's just too painful to go through again, even with someone you don't know. I couldn't even stand to watch the trailer.

Cancer is a ravenous monster and I look forward to it being relegated to the list of diseases, along with polio, that have been wiped off the face of the earth.

I'll never forget her poster from the 1970s with red bathing suit..

I spent many hours holding it up with one hand....

I had my hair cut like Farrah's back in the day...wish my hair was that long again so I could recopy it and relive my younger years...I honestly don't think I would watch the special either...I've lost several good friends to cancer and I pray that someday there will be a cure found...

People called me Farrah in high school. I had somewhat of a hairstyle like hers although not entire because it was most out by then. But I shared the same last name as her so not only did I get called Farrah, I got called drip, leaky, spicket, etc. I preferred Farrah.

OMIGOD! People called me Farrah in high school, too, Lodi!

I remember working on my hair for so long, and then spooning with Charlie and mussing it up anyway.

Or maybe that was prison.....big blur.....

Did you also have the red swimsuit?

Mine was white.

Wow! thank you guys for letting me know that the men too were influenced by Farrah's hairstyle.

Vicki, you and I have become desensitized. As a nurse, prior to my retirement, I seldom had the emotions I now experience. I didn't want to see Farrah like that so I didn't watch her special either. I can't believe sometimes I squeamish when I see blood. I just not strong, night angel I used to be.

I didn't and don't want to see Farrah like that either.

Didn't want to see my mother terminally ill either four years ago.

Prefer the good memories.
