this little guy is from North Platte. He doesn't look much bigger than a minute.

The story is incredible. I didn't watch the video because there was a message saying I had to install something to see the video together with a warning that what I install could potentially harm my computer. Don't you just hate those messages.

It's amazing.

And the saddest line was "Phillip Mains was cited for a child restraint violation for not having his three year old son Gage in a proper safety seat."

Did they really have to cite the poor guy. I mean really he was in a diabetic coma, he probably wasn't feeling well to begin with.

I suspect the situation was that the dad didn't even have a suitable car seat in the car for the child, not that he just had failed to put him in it. The 6 year old probably should have been in a proper seat too, but if he would have been, he maybe couldn't have gotten out to take over the steering wheel.

Nebraska takes the child restraint law very seroiusly, so I'm not surprised he was given a ticket for not having the chld in a seat. Actually, if there had been a seat in the car (which there may have been) a 3 year old proably could have put himself in the seat and hooked the buckles himself. That's why I'm guessing there wasn't even a seat available.

You are right and I have 3 grand daughters. Two are 3 and a 1 year old we never go any where not even around the block without them in a car seat. He must have been feeling ill so I can't understand why he was driving with 2 small children. But just glad they are all safe, what a kid huh!
