I watched the semifinal last night, with three acts who could have been in the final. Susan Boyle won it, of course. Her rendition of Memory, from "Cats", was a little hesitant to start, but then she pulled out all the stops, and gave a belting performance. The dance group "Diversity." were chosen as second, and into the final. The 10 year old girl was given third spot. She burst into tears, of course, who can blame her.

This morning I got up and Got my TQOTD right, it was "Sports Soup" about Tennis, not minority sports like I usually get. Oh, how I hate all the Baseball, Basketball, Ice Hockey and American Football questions which I seem to get constantly. The whole thing worked as well.

That's the song I expected her to sing next.

Susan Boyle was marvelous again. Her voice is so powerful and to me it's one of those voices that gives me shivers just listening to her performanc.e. In the beginning, there appeared to be a couple small rough spots but she surely knows the whole world is watching her. I guess if she can withstand that pressure she'll surely be ready for a musical career. I'm looking forward to hearing more of her beautiful voice in the coming months.
