WhooooHOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm so pumped! I just won a wager in Physical Science. This may be my biggest win ever!

1,000,001,262 Sploofus Points

Please resist the urge to post anything political in this thread. Thanks in advance.

These are my thoughts on President Obama.....

Congrats Koota! I haven't even been brave enough to wager lately with the way this site has been acting. May you someday rule the Sploofus world.

I agree -- special prize for bravery (foolhardiness).
Trust me the pleasure from winning a wager for a billion is as nothing compared to the pain of losing one

I remember those days. And I must say, its much easier to take the risk when you don't have any points.

Nicely done, my friend.

I am so scared to lose some of my points won with difficulties that I have 9 wager tokens in the bank and probably 30 showdowns tokens.. I do not know what to do with them, I do not really back myself up. So well done for taking a huge wager. Cheers.

Damn girl, you've got balls! On the rare ocasion that I've used a wager token, I've never had the guts to wager more than 1,000 points. Kudos and congrats to you.

Congrats on the big risk and your success.
I'd like to know that feeling, but probably never will. Great job.

I never thought I would get to a billion points either! Almost four years, and several royal wager screw-ups, and I finally got a string together to get to what was almost unthinkable by most folks not too long ago. I just hope I don't blow the next big one...guess I better not wager as much in the future to keep my if only we could trade in those showdown tokens.....

Amen to that, Hellborne. Bet the max, every chance you get. But have a cup of coffee and take a deep cleansing breath first. Or deep cleansing something.

Hey Katy! Amazing, I think that's worth celebrating!! I constantly second-guess myself, and my betting record reflect that. You've got nerves of steel -- way to go! All the best, Emily

Off topic, no not political, just a question. Isn't the yucky gray for a nonpaying member? If it is one posted on this thread today. Makes no difference to me but thought that was a "no no' again

The person who posted has been here a very long time as the level indicates, has made positive contributions, is expert on the games, and is liked by all. Not quite sure I like the discrimination by background color at all either. What I do know is don't like rules being changed arbitrarily without letting the membership know what the rules are -Linda

Perhaps status changed from yesterday to today-noticed that posts by nonpaying members occur on past threads...

That's what happened Linda, yesterday Taz was a gold member, today he is not.

That's awesome! I still can't figure out why it won't let me make a wager any larger than 1,000,000, whether i bet the max or not. How'd you do it? If it's a special glitch just for me, I've lost out on tons of points over the last year...

Tue, 26th May '09 7:34 PM I don't wager and am also not very good at posting links-hopefully this is the thread where Clydemaster started the debate about wager max-you have to go back a bit to find the thread if this doesn't work
