Started the puzzle and heard a car pull up outside. We live so far back in the hills that we walk toward town to hunt game. It was a college student selling a study resource set of books, and a neighbor had told him that as a retired teacher, I would be able to tell him if they were worth buying. I think he hoped for an endorsement, as if anyone would take my opinion. By the time he left, I looked back at my screen and saw that I hadn't finished the puzzle. And THAT's why I probably hold the new record for longest time on a WP.

BTW, I told him everyone around here will wait for the DVD version of his books. They were, like me, much too wordy.

But .... what did you think of the puzzle?

The puzzles I faced were all very enjoyable. I'd like to be able to do the others, just for fun.

Very good puzzle. Always like it when I not only have fun working the puzzle but I also learn some things. That's a clever idea for a topic too

As usual I didn't do well, but loved the puzzle. Learned some things too.

Very clever idea for a puzzle, and as usual I learned some interesting trivia.

No need to replace this puzzle. Winner all the way.

BTW, Michael, I have surely exceeded 6000 seconds at least a couple of times. I'm very deliberate (like Randy but not with same degree of acuity) and sometimes I prepare and eat dinner, garden, . . .

Great puzzle. I have a question about one of the WP's, which I hope I remember to ask after it's over.

Well, Randy, my eyes have been on the scores, not the times, as I try to nail down 6th or 7th for May. I'll keep an eye out for the times now too.

Anne (Virtus) is amazing and Daveguth, you, Slicko, Lamizell and Digs are also a few cuts above.

Well written, challenging and fun. There is nothing that I would "replace" in this puzzle.

Fun and educational. My favorite clue was Gilligan's Island and Russell Johnson being cast as the professor after the pilot episode.
I read a whole book about the making of G.I. , so I knew that puzzle quickly.
Hmmm- a future word puzzle perhaps?
