I hope you have an awesome time. I flew out of Philly to Florida in December and that was my first time on an airplane. Nowhere near as bad as I thought!

Have fun! I went to Vegas in March. Where will you be staying?

At the Flamingo.
I am excited but nervous about the plane, and I'm sure my friends will have me insane by the end of the trip. We'll be there for my birthday, which should be fun.....but the closer it gets the more my stomach does flip-flops.

I'd love to know what you think of the Flamingo. I was planning to stay there if I go later this month - still not sure yet. Also, any other experienced Vegas folks - what is the best hotel for a group on the strip?

The Flamingo is excellent!

My husband and I got married there 6 months ago. They were very busy, but who isnt in vegas?
The rooms were nice, the buffet was excellent and the gardens on the ground were spectacular!

I definitely would choose the flamingo if I were you.

You can't go wrong. You'll probably be cruising all the hotels anyway, and you'll find something that suits your taste be it in the Flamingo or elsewhere.

As for flying, your nick suggests you'll be just fine. At least no worse for wear than the flights I took this past week.

OK guys--I am officially out of here!!!!
Thanks for the well-wishes...if that's even a real term. But if not, it should be.
