For anybody who wanted to see the explanation I submitted to my editor concerning how the puzzle worked, here it is along with the entire puzzle itself.

The intent is that the word "courage" is missing from each phrase. The location in each is depicted by "[courage]" and obviously should not be included in the final puzzle.

Thanks for the explanation and the entire list.
As I mentioned in the earlier thread- Phrase 9 is a rhetorical question, and opens the door for dialogue.
An interesting twist among the other nine phrases.
Congrats to John for his first puzzle submission.

I'm glad I did not get #9. I would have objected to the single question among 9 statements. I like puzzles to be consistent.
