EVERYTHING COMES TO HE WHO WAITS.

About six weeks in this case. My Ann Coulter Quotes quiz has FINALLY been passed fit for human consumption. I even managed to sneak my original image back on, it was "banned" originally. Of course, having tried so hard for so long, it will flop dramatically !!!! I'd like to thank the various editors who helped me rewrite it. It's not as good as my original, but it'll do.

Gee, Dave, had no idea you were a fan of Chairman Ann!

I do read her - for humor and for the latest lies of the Left. I don't take her seriously. Indeed I was taken aback by this week's column. But I usually am when she writes about her favorite subject - abortion.

But this will be something different.

Thank you in advance.

Well, I'm not exactly a fan either. I just think that for a political commentator and BOOK SELLER!!! she's very funny. I admire Al Franken just as much and miss him now that he's gone legit.

I took your quiz and didn't do as poorly as I expected. I'm no fan of Coulter, I fail to see why she gets any press. I guess she is laughable, Andy, but sadly she's serious and worse yet taken seriously for what she spouts. There are far too many who think she she has good thoughts and ideas. Scary....

She's provocative and rarely serious, Maureen.

Her latest major "campaign" appears to be against the media's glorification of single motherhood. It's right on target because we should not glorify such as it as those kids are the source of many of our society's ills. It's one thing to support single mothers, but we should not promote this an attractive option to young women.

Never did care for women who were skinny and did not seem to have to work at it. I find her "shrill" just as I find "Olbermann a complete a-- and a total bore so don't pay much attention to what either of them have to say

I like to write a cross section of quizzes, some serious and some down right frivolous. If a quiz can show a truly evil person for what "she" is, so much the better. To think she sells herself as a staunch christion too.

Oh, my, Dave!

While she is very much of a put-on, she sails right over your head.

Looking for someone evil?

Start with the militant Islamists

If you dare.

Any what about you, I think you'd make a nice series. Shall we start with ...How many ways does Collioure love the French?

Beverly, I'm not sure I understand your question.

I like the French. I also like the Catalans among whom I also live. If I didn't, I wouldn't be here.

I tend to like most peoples.

If you want to know more about me, I'm the next Word Puzzle.

Sorry, Bev, believe it violates Sploofus "terms and conditions" to use any player in your quiz nor start a thread bashing them-one player- still here- tried that long ago about himself as loving him had to grow on us. It was not allowed. You are free to write a quiz about France or French people or I guess even US citizens living there- doubt any of those would get a rush of takers-but you cannot name anyone here

I have just taken the quiz. I have never heard of this person before and I managed to get 50% of answers right. I could have had more if I was not so naive about human nature.

I disagree about not being seious, Andy. She was on Donny Deutsch's The Big Idea and said that Jews would rather be Christians if they had the chance or some other noise. I'm in the neighborhood in context. Donny challenged her and said just what you did, he felt she was joking and making light and asked her to please explain and withdraw her inflammatory remarks. She would not, she meant what she said. She was serious and is very serious about her faith. He threw her off the show.

She can be quite tongue in cheek and while being so, she's serious as a heart attack. You can disagree and say it's all in jest but I'll respectfully take the other side on this one. There are no ploys in her agenda. Maybe some folks don't get any of the nuance and innuendo and that's even worse. I'll say it again...this woman is scary.

Maureen, she's a a shock jock. She may believe what she says, but few take her very seriously. And, yes, some don't get her nuances.

I can deal with it. I know what to filter out and what may be worth considering further.

I read smart columnists - Friedman, Dowd, Broder, Morris, Krauthammer, Coulter.

I agree with you there. It's those who aren't smart and savvy but consider themselves so....far too many to be counted!!!

I agree she's a shock jock. She sells books and gets to be a guest on shows. Other than that, she has no power whatsoever - if she did - THEN I would find her scary. Except for cloogs' photoshop eyes- those were REALLY scary and nasty. But to each his own.

It was a good quiz with good quotes.

Actually Andy, with the exception of Coulter, based on your preferred columnist list, you read conventional thinking right and center-right establishment columnists, who are mostly wrong about their political prognostications and who do not deserve to be taken seriously. I exclude Coulter because her writing is not intellectually serious; instead, she falls into the entertainer category -- like Rush Limbaugh. I'm not surprised, however, to learn that you consider those columnists you read to be "smart".

I find it strange but somewhat amusing that no one has mentioned the two scariest shock jocks. Sean Hannity and Mark Levin. There, I just did.

There's not a conventional thinker among them, TSK.

Not one.

Isn't Krautammer the one who looks and talks like Scrooge's partner Marley, after he was dead?

Fudy - I LOVE Walter Williams. I sent him an email once about something that happened with my dad which was relative to what he was discussing, and he wrote back requesting to use it in his next column, which he did.

Keep watching Olbermann then, TSK.

With all his slanted reporting, non-sequiturs and leaps of faith, he may be more your speed.

Charles Krauthammer is a Pulitzer Prize winning columnist who was paralyzed in a diving accident when in medical school. He is in a wheelchair and visibly has some trouble breathing. Nice jab at the guy.

I tried to take the Happiness quotient quiz and it kicked it back that I already took it. This has happened to me more than once and it must be a glitch. I will send a support ticket in. I don't think it is personal when it takes a while for a quiz to show up.
