Good work-like them short as the long ones with sometimes give me more frustrating than fun moments Linda

huge fun. Thanks
I found most of them impossible to work out without a letter or two, which is ideal. A couple of the clues were ambiguous --which I prefer as opposed to giveaways....but I'm not betting against one of the cleverclogs doing it in 5 --are you?

Fun, but not all that easy. No excuses, though--all were reasonably well known.

Great job. I am never good with the music ones but I did enjoy this and even knew a lot of them.

I only knew two well known songs and had to Google, Google all the rest.

Did much better this time even with a pink screen where two similar titles were possible.

Thanks, Naomi. I am at a big disadvantage with such a puzzle, but it is still lotsa fun.

Coll, with your times, if you're not usually googling, what are you doing, using encyclopedia britannica and a world atlas?

I enjoy this series. Although I also struggle with the musical puzzles, at least these are a song and a book, for example, instead of two songs.

I got four with no letters, including getting lucky with "Stone Cold As Ice (Tom/Foreigner)" -- seriously, is the public still on a first-name basis with Tom Selleck? And is using TV movies fair? Had the song not been obvious, I'd have been lost since I thought "Tom" must be Clancy, Cruise, or Hanks.

As it was, I spent all my letters trying to come up with "Four Past Midnight Rambler (King/Stones)." The Stephen King was fairly obscure, but I cry foul at including a song that evidently wasn't even released as a single. Was there something wrong with the more familiar "Midnight Rider"? Or you could have used either "Midnight at the Oasis" or "Midnight Train to Georgia." It seems designed to be a foiler. They don't all have to be easy, but they should be on an equal skill level.
