WARNING POLITICAL! WHY? don't know anything about European press so this could be a blog or not a reputable source. To the best of my knowledge-sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but no definite cause of the destruction of the flight has been determined. Think there is consensus it broke apart in the ar. Wondering why this aspect has received no US press pretty much like the radical Muslim killing the recruiter got next to no press at all The foiled plot of the NYC Muslim guys disappeared almost before it was reported at all. Just curious

The Telegraph is an extremely respected UK source.
But, as always, treat any journalist with some questionability at least.

Thank you, Alan. It is logical then that this aspect would be covered in the US press as well, but as usual anything that might talk about Muslim extremists cannot be found or quickly passed over

I saw such about a week ago, but what they have recovered so far shows no signs of a fire or bomb explosion on board.

Yes, believe they are saying it might have something to do with computers or the like. My complaint is that this aspect- people on the list of known terrorist on board- was not even mentioned in US press or maybe on page 43 of some newspaper. I only caught it as a kind of aside even on FOX. The NYC radical Muslims were not talked about immediately after being reported as a foiled plot. The FBI has the recruiter shooter -radical Muslim-case under "wraps" not that the press seemed to notice much the execution of the recruiter not for who he was but what he symbolized to the shooter.

I do not know where I saw it, but the day after the crash I saw the story picked up via google on their news headline page.
As far as I know this page simply collects the most read stories and there is no political bias in the selection.

It does normally have US stories in front of other ones since it is the US page I go to...but at this distance I cannot tell you any more about where I read it.

But so far it is just two names, names not tracked down to match the terrorists on the French list.

Thanks, Barry, just wish there had been some attention paid to it so folks could decide for themselves rather than a quick glance and then buried. Linda

I'm sure Surreyman would agree with me that the Telegraph is also an extremely right wing organ. Having said that, they do not print rubbish, opinions aside.
