DIDB72'S GREEK MYTHOLOGY WP

Outstanding WP. Informative and a fun test of memory!

Thanks DIDB72.

Hugely enjoyable; than you!

I lost a bunch on one less common form of a word when I tried to be too clever.
Like that hasn't happened to me before.....
If ever there was a subject I should have known about (after wasting ten years on latin and greek at school) this was it.

It just goes to show that 30 years later the trivia still sticks in the mind.

I got the same puzzle. The word was only used to make it harder I think, and it did. Cost me several moves.

Other than that I loved it! More like that please!

Felt like hitting the jackpot when I was looking at a name I didn't know, and just started guessing letters and I got the right ones.

I got that same one and it threw me for a loop........hmmmm.....so what else is new? Had a kazillion moves but nothing strange about that either. Nice puzzle.....it was my lack of knowledge that did me in.

Very clearly written. A test of knowledge, rather than who has the luckiest thesaurus.

Another good job, Didier.

I lucked out in getting four phrases I solved in 3 or 4 moves each.

Which NEVER happens here

Mythology is one of my favorite subjects, so I loved this word puzzle. I felt like I was being taken on a wonderful journey while solving each phrase. Thanks for a lot of fun!

Hope I'm not too late to tell you that I really enjoyed your mythology puzzle. It's good to bring back to memory some of the neat things we learned.

Did anyone else guess threeheaded for multiheaded.
That did not quite cost me the win (**** smoke was too good) but it did surprise me.....

No, by the time I had enough meat to fill in the rest of the words, it was obvious, albeit surprising. Then again, given that "three-headed" is hyphenated, and would thus look awkward in the puzzle with or without the space, "multiheaded" was probably a nice approach. I'd have probably inflicted "tricephalic" on you had it been my puzzle

I burned the E to locate Carberus, so there was only one thing it could be.

Lucky I didn't spell it that way in the puzzle.

Any country that prints semifinal that way instead of semi-final could write threeheaded instead of three-headed!
