I enjoyed this, and i was going well until the fifth puzzle. A rather strange (to me) phrase cost me nine moves.

Maybe I just got a selection of strange (and not particularly apt) words in my early puzzle but I was grumpier than usual by the time I'd finished.

Well, I'd better do this soon. Lotta cooking to to do today. 6 for dinner. Warm shrimp with with white beans, tomato and basil. Grouper over red onion cooked in red wine with honey and tomato butter.

Argh! I was running late but usually do quite well on the "10 Things" puzzles so wasn't too worried. Sadly, it took me so long to get "luxury safari camp" and "big five" that I ended up with an invalid submission by about 30 seconds.

What are the big five -- lions, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, and hippos? I'm unfamiliar with the term.

5 Things about this puzzle:
1. There were some clever twists on the theme that made this a challenge, yet fun
2. I learned about the Big Five
3. I'm coming over to Colliure's house for dinner
4. Barry grumpy????
5. It was nice having one of these after a break for awhile

It was "safari camp" that stumped me, i thought it had to be safari park. Maybe it's one of those "transatlantic" things, or perhaps just me.

Yes the phrases I did not like were the ones mentioned above. Midway island? That was a toughie too -- maybe it was in the bio but I forgot to check till too late.

The big 5 are lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo. We were supposed to go on a safari to a luxury camp at Christmas as part of a cruise, but they rerouted it due to pirates, and we are doing a different cruise. The luxury camp phrase is used by many of the African safari companies, as they really have the luxury camp type setups, though they have most imaginable amenities. They are located IN the parks.

As for Midway, I lived there and Guam as well.

I am glad some of you enjoyed it, and I tried to be a little different. I thought the one that would make people wonder was that round up at the amusement park.

Agreed -- re round up. I had not heard of this but when I saw the spaces I googled round up (I'd used up a,e,i,o) and was pleasantly surprised!

This is my first WP, and sometimes 75 letters goes fast! That round up was truly the most frightening horrible thing. I actually had the ride stopped.

Very enjoyable and also struggled with the "safari camp" one. It is amazing to learn of the wide range of experiences of the members of Sploofville.
